How is it "running the dungeon my way"? I wanted to run the dungeon the normal way. You know, the way it was intended to be ran?

Ignoring that you're just obviously trying to save face right now, for the future you might want to try, "Hey guys, I'm not feeling up for a speed run tonight. Please bear with me." instead of say, "There's no way a summoner and dragoon can speedrun this place! LMAO, c'mon kids, I'll go more your speed."

Not that you would say anything like the latter, because I know you're a fine upstanding member of the mmo community.

No but its people like you that make people run DF for Speed runs. Have you seen party finder for Brayflox SRs? BLM/BLM or BLM/BRD, DRG MNK SMN get screwed over so that is why we use DF to speed run. Make your own SR party? Go ahead try it and see how long you have to wait if you are one of the 3 DPS no one wants to take. When I use DF my Queue times are like 5mins or less and a run usually take 15-20mins depending on the other DPS.

They don't need to give you a chance, you denied it before you even tried it.

Way to put words into my mouth. Though I doubt you'd believe me I'm always polite with other players. I treat people the way I'd want to be treated because I realize I'm playing with other living people, not disposable NPCs.

A very similar thing happened to me last week in Brayflox HM. I DF'ed as tank into a pre-made group of WHM and BLMx2. They were very busy talking in /p about talking to each other in vent, what their voices sounded like, "sexy talk," etc. Very weird. I should have dropped right then. They asked for a speed run and said "pull big groups." I pulled the first two groups of mobs and they couldn't keep up (healer let me die pretty fast even though my static healer has no trouble keeping me alive in Bray) so we wiped. I did the rest of the run at a slower pace for their sake as they kept yapping in /p about their vent conversation and how sexy someone's voice was. After the second boss, they ran deeper into Bray, grabbed everything they could, trained it on me, and let me die by refusing to fight/heal. They kicked me, I reported them, and that's why I don't DF expert anymore. I'm pretty sure they were just running Bray HM to troll tanks while possibly getting tomes.
