Accuracy for EX primals?

Everywhere I read that EX primals have practically no evade and thus Accuracy Gear is not a concern. However, recently my Dragoon replaced the Mythology earring with Accuracy for the Turn 2 Earring without. Went from ~470 to ~450 accuracy and I swear I started missing back/side attacks on EX Titan.

Anyone else notice a potential change with 2.2?

I haven't noticed this. Maybe because you attack him during invulnerability? Only Leviathan EX should have Accuracy requirements. Also if you're missing Heavy Thrust's buff or Impulse Drive combo into Disembowel, maybe because Titan was turning?

Are you actually missing, or just not having HT buff you and Dis combo-ing?

The former would be an accuracy problem (which I haven't heard anyone else say anything about), the latter means you need to pay attention more and get into position better.

My problem was actually using Phlebotomize and the debuff not being put on even though I saw the animation and heard the sound. I'm not exactly reading the combat log for a Miss statement mid fight. I wouldn't bug the forum for something as explainable as side/back positioning not registering properly.

This still does not help us. At all. Did you use Phlem right as a jump happened? Right as an invulnerability phase started? Did you see the big MISS pop up on the screen?

As already being pointed out,
there are many times when he is invunl. Not always just as he is jumping up, but sometimes for a good number of secs before he jumps. The jump to trigger the next phase is percent based.
But, Titan will finish his animation for ability prior to going into the Jump at times. Mostly, depends on which ability he is using.
During this time, you have the ability to "Hit" him with an ability or two .... BUT it will register invunl on Titan above his head, and anything you are placing on him, will not take effect.

I believe this is what many people here are trying to ask you, and to clear up ^^

As a melee dps, I believe the cap for accuracy on Ex Primals Garuda, Titan, Ifrit, and Thornmarch is 400. Levix requires at least 482

I do Levi at 462 I think (can't remember exact number, it whatever I use for T5, less than 470, greater than 460 anyway)

The front requires 482 (like T5 for tanks) but you're not really supposed to be there...if you want to Phlem the head, get to the flank and do it, not the front.

Sorry, to be more clear, this was not during his jumps/heart summoning/Astral Flow. Just random times, waiting for the Gaol to spawn, sidestepping a Landslide, etc. I do not recall seeing a big Miss word, but I suppose I'll have to be careful. I have Internal Release Macroed to the button, so I suppose that bug could be eating the attack.

You *really* should remove all macros like that...as soon as you can.

And don't say its because you use a controller either.
