    That's hardly content, just a boring time sink to gather useless materials to make useless gear and sell it for useless gil.

    This game basically turns into "farm gear so you can farm better gear" and that's about it. How is that any different from any other MMO? I don't know. Maybe it's because the only real content in this game is dungeons that are either so easy I fall asleep or so difficult that you either have to be a masochist (pugging) or you have to turn it into a chore (static) to clear it. The only point in actually getting coil gear is for your e-peen. Once you have the full set there's nothing you can do with it except clear content you already find easy even easier.

    My only real point here is that we need more to do as players because everything that they currently have got old within just a few short months of playing. I was just using the idea from my original post as an example. But I would have to agree with pretty much everyone who has posted thus far. My goal is to hopefully get them thinking to add new content that can serve all players that is outside of what they already have. Not content reinvented numerous times, but actual new mechanics to the game itself. ^_^

    I mean how often was Xarcabard/ The deeper side of Yhtunga Jungle outpost actually open
    A lot of the time on Fairy server actually. At least the jungle, people liked to move there to level.

    In fairness I think they want to care, they just haven't thought of or figured out how to have materia add to iLevel of gear so the crafted version is on par with iLevel of dungeon farmed gear. Crafting as a system in this game is one of the better systems. It's the in game product and how it stacks up in the mechanics that is an abomination to the classes.

    While unpredictable can be fun... When done well. it's hard to program and generally in MMOs a predictable pattern will always emerge, and then be exploited. (And if truly unpredictable...complained about, if a pattern can be found, that'll be complained about too)

    Random hard mobs. It really is not that hard of a concept in a random location. Roaming the area until it's killed and then it spawns to another random area at a random time.
