Best Gear in Coil needs to end

There needs to be more variation and choices. I know people that are done with their daily coil and finished animus and are now SO BORED that they are even doing another Atma quest.

There needs to be more options for gear with other content, it really cannot continue to be coil all the time...

Maybe even make it so that you can continue to upgrade the Levi Weapon up to 110/115 with more mirrors, idk. SOMETHING ELSE TO DO.

It's only been about a month and it's already starting to feel like the end of 2.1 with nothing to do except for coil.

the op has a point, because your static isn't constantly online simultaneously, especially when playing with friends in different time zones. it'd be great if we could raid every time we logged on, but this is dependent on other people. so you're forced to either do the atma grind, farm levi/mog, farm old coil, or level other classes. if you have no interest in any of those things aside from raiding, the game does seem a bit boring. I'm really hoping gold saucer turns out to be what i expect, because this game really needs some more fun, leisure things to do. i don't count fishing, find it pretty boring. chocobo racing and card games would keep me playing for hours.

I hear what you're saying Kimura, but what the OP proposed seems more specific than "I'm bored when it's not raid time." He's looking for an alternate pathway of gear progression to end at the same level as what is rewarded by the game's currently highest tuned content. That's what I read anyway. Otherwise, sure. I agree the game is in much need of real interactive leisure content. We have beaches and patio furniture, but no beach balls or sand castle equipment.

I've believed for the longest time the table from coil, the one with the lights and squares in it, for sure had to be some kind of in-game game. Total missed opportunity to add some kind of chess/cards minigame on a special table.

There's a veritable plethora of content in the game currently, and it's well-paced to boot. Don't depend on a single game to be your sole source of entertainment.

They need to find a way to make this game not like every other MMO out there.
You want people to progress in player skill and not just gear but then again
one reason a lot of people get fed up with MMOs is because of the mundane gear grind.
Weekly caps keep people interested sure.
But I 100% agree there needs to be more than one way to progress not just gear.

I was just thinking not every player is in an FC or fortunate enough to have 7 other friends to complete the coil with for whatever reason you're unable to complete the coil be it the fact you like to play solo in these types of games or not very good at being sociable for whatever reason. Yes there should be more ways to gain access to those gears.

But wait on second reading of the threads contributors that's not what this is about.
