Also not trying to derail this thread, it is about parry. Just thought we should think about it for a second. Since this thread has convinced me more or less parry sucks.

Id like to see a SS of your PLD doing 245 dps.

491 was T6 cap isn't it? pretty sure T7 around 500. might as well aim for 510 if you a tank since T8 require around that much

I have received misses on T8 at 510 accuracy. I tank it with 520 at the moment.

BTW Talouin how many time did you miss at 510? I hear the hard cap for ACC is 99.99%, and you can't get 100%

Fairly certain (and I may be wrong as I don't even do SCoB yet) but T8/T9 are 515 according to BG.

You are more than welcome to create a character on Sargatanis if you like, and I'll show you in real time. If you want a Parser SS, ill post it some time. But tonight, I'm going to be slamming myself at Turn 8 for a while.

Turn 6, the highest Accuracy I've missed at was 485. I learned T6 at 490 and did not miss (5000+ Swings). Another tank said he parsed a miss at 489 but this is second hand info.

Turn 7, the highest Accuracy I've missed at was 490. I learned T7 at 492 and did not miss (6000+ Swings).

Turn 8, the highest Accuracy I've missed at was 510. I have never missed at 512 but the sample size was small (1000+ Swings) because I eventually switched to Monk once we decided that two-tank is not what we wanted to do. Our Paladin tanked it at 514 and hasn't missed.

Turn 9, I haven't missed at 516, but we haven't spent a lot of time in there yet (lost a week of progress to Easter family aggro). Blue Garter's tank, Cortana, said he tanked it for a while at 515 without any misses.

Based on the above, I would guess that the Tank Accuracy caps for the above are:

T6: 490
T7: 491-492
T8: 512-514
T9: 515

This isn't unreasonably high.

At i90, I would normally do ~240 DPS as a Marauder DPS vs EX Titan. Encounter DPS too, so it includes DPS lost from jumps, etc...

At higher than i90, I would think that a Sword Oath Paladin should be at around the same. I would be worried about TP consumption though.

On T8, I did 180 as PLD on Sword O with No STR ring, etc and holding back most of the time (stupid RoH combo causing too much agro in dps stand LOL). we are trying out Minesweeper tactic , it was really smooth (I barely take any damage from landmine LOL) but dps lost is a bit too much.

so 240 ish DPS should be with in reasonable range with DPs gear.

FYI, Temper will allow you to ignore Push back from landmine btw x). you still get push back w/ HG tho just no damage taken
