And now they are adding those that did do the grind to that list. Which you seem to neglect.Blaming those that didn't want to do the grind? Yes, that is what they are doing- it's also called listening to feedback. They made customers unhappy who are either not doing the badly designed content or quitting. When customers get mad like this, there is only SE to blame.
Or blame the players who on this forum practically begged for a grind like this and who made sure to do everything they could to silence anyone that tried to point out the obvious flaws.Blaming those that didn't want to do the grind? SE deserves some blame for not looking past that begging, but players deserve blame for asking for grinds to begin with.
Was there a huge cry for more FATES? I saw requests for meaningful overworld content... just because SE misconstrued that into MOAR FATES doesn't mean the players that asked for OW content should be blamed...I get you're not happy- but why so quick to blame players that didn't ask for this instead of the people who made this badly designed mess?Or blame the players who on this forum practically begged for a grind like this and who made sure to do everything they could to silence anyone that tried to point out the obvious flaws.

I know I can wait... I still have 0/12 Atma![]()
But they stated that's what would happen. Literally. They said "Not everyone will complete it by 2.25, where the quest line would be continued."Well, if it doesn't affect you why are you so concerned? Is it because you are not going to be the only one with the shiny weapon? Everybody started with a Zenith weapon, but not all of them have an Animus because they either rage quit or just don't have as much time/luck to put on the quest like some of us. Even if 500 more people begin the quest for Novus with Animus, you are most likely to get it before them.
So the intention was very clear. A few would be running around with Animus.
What affects me, is that the progress is blocked due to some very confusing reasoning. "Not enough people have Animus." But yet wasn't that your original intent?
If I could help people get their weapon I would but I CAN'T! I can't do anything for them except give them some kind words and now I'm just being given the shaft
And if the quests aren't done just come out flatly and say it, "Hey guys, sorry next portion of the quests just aren't finished yet. Please wait a little longer." Is a lot better than this, "Oh, were all done and all but were looking for more ways to hand out spheres and were gonna wait til more people get their Animus."

If the previous two steps are any indication of the next one (reused content), they most certainly have it ready for release. It's not like a whole new tier of dungeons like Coil are going to be implemented. As you said, they were expecting most to not have Animus by this time, but maybe they didn't expect such a huge amount of negative feedback. So, instead of aggravating things they want to give a chance for some to catch up or at least progress a bit more in that questline before releasing the next set.But they stated that's what would happen. Literally. They said "Not everyone will complete it by 2.25, where the quest line would be continued."

The vast vast vast majority haven't. The only reason those of us who have managed to was by grinding 10 hours daily every day. Don't expect to see them make it any easier in 2.25, IMO I hope they stop the trend of dumbing things down. Removes baseline and motivation to accomplish things pre nerf.
People complaining about the reasons for the delay need to calm down. Do you honestly believe that they are going to spell out every detail as to why they are making decisions? There are likely a multitude of considerations that went into the decision to delay, some of which we may not even fully grasp.
I assume none of you have children, or if you do, you spell out exactly why you make the decisions you do at every turn...
Grow up.
Good luck with that. Fwiw I have 3 atma weapons now. Took two days per weapon. Don't see them swaddling the kids much more than that. What I would give my left arm to see is some of today's generation dropped into the EQ1 epic quest. Could you imagine? Lol. I would bet on massive QQ over the eyepatch quest even which only took 4 drops.
Speaks volumes about today's generation considering the pride I felt when I accomplished these. Last thing that crossed my mind was whine to make it easier.
They implied they are looking into feedback on the current quests, there is also 3 patches between 2.25 and 2.28 is there not ?I'm confused
You don't come out and boast "Oh, we don't expect many to have completed their Animus by 2.25, if at all" and then turn around and say on the eve of 2.25, "Not a lot of people have their animus so not releasing next portion."
No changes whatsoever to Atma/Animus in 2.25
You are holding back Novus, in consideration of those who haven't gotten it done, yet make no changes to the current system, hoping that others will catch up.
Have you not read the forums? THEY WON'T DO IT AT ALL UNLESS SOMETHING IS CHANGED! So why hold back the progress of people who HAVE done the Animus for others who aren't even going to do it at all!
I mean it's not going anywhere! I don't understand...
I don't have my Animus yet but will prob be close if not have it by 2.28 so this makes total sense to divert resources to more important content ...... (like PvP /jk)
