I'm not like this... I had to check myself when I went to help some people fight Titan ex, and we kept wiping, and I was mad and told them I had to go by making up some excuse... I apologized to those guys, rounded them up, and eventually got the win!!
The "time" makes people like this. Duty finder, and parties wanting the best players, die 3 times we'll kick, die to something stupid your gone. So if a man is in the middle of a Titan run, and he drops his controller for some reason, and dies. Oh he's the sorriest man in the world!!! Kick him!!
We have to learn to be more patient with others. I read on here about a FC that does Primal learning sessions every weekend?! Wow... I commend their whole group, because they are not trying to be the best themselves, though they are, they are trying to make the realm, and players on their server better.
So the next time you see that guy who looks sorry as hell... Help him out, give him a few kind encouraging words. Let him know its ok, and that he will get it. Ask him what he's having issues with, or if he has any questions. Through a better community, we can make this game feel like FFXI's love. I have a linkshell that are filled with some of the most generous people I know. I wish I was in their free company, but I'm a loyal guy. When I make a commitment to a free company. I don't walk away for something better. Unless the free company collapses.
EDIT: Oh, and if you are mad, or you feel like a party sucks, or if you simply have to go because you are running out of time... Please tell the party... Don't DC on purpose, or just leave the party without saying a word. I think the party deserves the right to know why you are leaving. Like do we suck, or do you have something to do, or is there something someone needs to change about their playstyle? Never telling a sorry man what he's doing wrong, just dumps a sorry man back in the pool of endless players. Make a sorry man good, and maybe he teaches 4 other sorry men what you taught them. It's a game we are playing. Play, have fun, laugh at failures, correct them, and smile at hard earned victories for yourself and others.
