How often do people actually clear Titan Extreme?

I swear that fight is impossible. I've been trying for well over a month and no matter how high the ilvl requirement, no matter how "experienced" people claim to be I've never seen a group clear it. This is some serious bullshit.


This game is dead to me.

Titan likes to eat unskilled players and laggers for breakfast. No matter how well they overgear the fight or how much echo is given to them. He will always teach them the folly of standing in landslides that come out at the exact same time every damn time.

I had a few PF parties come extremely close. to be honest if I had played better we would have killed him.

Even in those clear exp farm party, you can often see ppl who are clearly not that experienced, so you can imagine this kind of thing in a progressing party.
A lot of ppl just don't have a certain strategy to dodge each move and always make decisions on the fly, so each time they'll have a certain chance to fail.
The best thing you can do is to find a FC that willing to help ppl pass the fight (and hopefully not just carrying them pass).

it never fail to make me laugh when i seek PF and see i90 lvl needed for a Titan party xD
Even with buff echo 5 most people fail on it.
We like to test our new members for rosters on Titan Ex ^^ it's a pure skill fight really not hard actually but it clearly show if he can dodge and doing his job at same time.

Too bad you're not on Excalibur. My FC hosts Titan EX Learning parties every weekend. We have a very experienced group and after every clear, we bring in 1-2 new people to show them the ropes. Would love to help ya out if we could.

It sucks, Titan Ex is road-blocking me too. I got in a really good DF party today too...but we started hitting big problems after the heart phase, mostly with the new bomb patterns when the granite gaolers pop. Echo only helps so much with that.

Idk. I really want to start getting Ex weapons but the fight is crazy frustrating. When most of the PF peeps are looking for people who've already cleared it, I'd be a bit ashamed to join even if I felt confident if they were gonna queue for Ifrit Ex to test to make sure. =/ It sucks. I'd hate to say that I'd pay for clear, but it's almost getting that way. I mostly just want it for the Elfin Bow on my BRD. Shame.

We wipe even in farm parties...my best farm group...perhaps 50% wins?

Farming primal weapons since week 2 of patch 2.1. We had an extreme primal LS, I think membership is about 40-60 where we farm extreme primals and sell them together.
