Hmmm run a dungeon and deal with RNG for free gear or pay for armor that is new (read: overpriced) because some crafter wants to make a huge chunk of Gil off of one sale. HMMM TOUGH DECISION Y'ALL

they want to stop RMT thats why crafting is a novelty, but we all see how well thats working.
Personally, the only reason I would buy the Cashmere robes are for glamouring and I certainly don't need HQ just for glamour. So right now they are waaay overpriced and people on my server are just generally putting up the HQ ones.
I like that crafted items are just an alternative to dungeon drops. I don't want to *have* to buy overpriced crap to progress :/
Maybe set prices to a resonable level that normal players can afford? 500 000 gil aint something I would pay for a piece that I can replace with myth or coils. Maybe 50k.
Most iLevel90 crafted items I have seen on the Ragnarok market were close to or over the 1 million GIL mark. No wonder they only sell 1 piece per week. Crafters should get good GIL for these crafts but not like 10-20 times more than they got with 2 star crafts. Give the markets a few weeks or months and there will be more 3 star crafters out there with hopefully less insane prices. I know it takes effort and time (myth grind included) to make a 3 star item but one million for one piece? Ridiculous. 200-300k should be enough and affordable from more players.

Maybe if the effort to craft a HQ version of a 3 star item was reasonable compared to the result. ilvl90 HQ with the same stats as a normal Coil drop? LOL
And you'd buy one for 50k? For how much would you sell Tomestones of Mythology?
You know that most pieces require ~1300 Tomestones of Mythology just to get 50% of the base materials?
I agree that the best gear should come from raiding. But the 2nd best should come from crafting (HQ+melded) and the 3rd best from Tomestones.
The new ilvl100 Tomestone gear is basically free and everyone can get a full set in a matter of a few weeks.
If SE doesn't want people to "buy" their endgame gear (is that different from getting stuff with Tomestones?), they should make the 3 star recipes BoP (bind on pickup) and increase the ilvl stats of a NQ version to ilvl90 and the HQ to ilvl100.
This would make the tedious and expensive road to being a mastercrafter at least somewhat worthwhile.
What's a dungeon drop for you? HM dungeon or Coil?
ilvl70 HQ crafted gear with materia is better than the free loot HM dungeon drops.
ilvl80 CT gear beats all ilvl70 and can be farmed nonstop now.
ilvl90 HQ crafted gear with materia beats Coil drops and ilvl90 Myth.
ilvl100 Soldiery gear beats all ilvl90, very easy to get.
ilvl110 upgrades, weapons or Coil drops, best gear, only available through Coil.
You don't *have* to buy anything.
But crafters have to run coil or dungeons for ilvl100+ gear. Why are crafters forced to do so? Why can't they use their craft to make their own ilvl100 equip?

You bought a Weathered Daystar Robe for yourself and you expect people pay mios gil to buy your Cashmere Robe of Healing HQ?
and crafting gears are fine, both BG tanks are using penta melding crafting left side and they just beat T9 with that plus a i90/95 weapon.
The 1st MNK body was sold at 7.5mio?!!!! O_o, people on ur server are damn rich....
