Am I the only one feeling very sad about the "Favour" system being an april fool?

I don't recall Thancred actually trying to get with my character (or my Ul'dah alt); if there's any differences its minor and doesn't really affect anything. He does chastise me for "sneaking up" on him when he's watching every other female Scion...

You forgotten that Thancred is a player and he only plays with girls he knows he has a chance at winning.

Let's just all face the facts that were really forgetful. I can't really discuss or debate with not having remembered anything. But I still think that if he did finally get together with the player, that he wouldn't just continue eyeing all the ladies, when you're the only one he really needs to eye from then on (without getting said eye punched out XD).

So basically what I was trying to say is that I would like some good, well written and fun romance fluff and friendship fluff, like the way bioware has it in their games, or maybe even the way you see in Fire Emblem: Awakening. Just sweet, nice, cute, without any of the romance drama like some of you guys seem to suggest XD; romance drama makes my stomach turn XD; That's just my opinion.
So yes I would love romance but adding drama like 'how dare you cheat!' And 'don't steal my girl I kick you!' would just ruin it XD;

Bayohne here with some surprising news!
It turns out the whole Favour system was a complete fabrication! I know, I know. I wanted it to be real, too. Fans of the system...don't worry! I've set some time aside with the team to discuss my feelings and to beg for it to become a reality. If there are enough burning requests for it, maybe Yoshi-P will...?

I think most people realized it was an April Fools, they just think that a system similar to this that took itself seriously would be good for characterization (Both from NPCs and the PC)
