I find grinding Levi for mirrors is a lot more bearable than Fate zerging.

Kinda taking the fun out for me right now. I'm still kinda enjoying the game, but I'm literally not doing other content because I farm fates with horrible drop rates.

While everyone is on Farm mode on Levi EX, I'm still farming FATEs. I understand this is all choice though.

If you're sick of FATEs, you could go grind Coil or grind Myths and get all your gear to i90. Should even be able to get your DL ring replaced with the Soldiery tome ring by now if you've been capping that (1st thing I did). Don't even need to get the Turn 5 weapon. iLv 90 beats the min reqs for Levi EX by 10 levels, and your EX Primal Weapon (or Relic Zenith) does that.

You could say grinding is grinding, but it's a MMO. That's what they do. You just get to pick your flavor.

You can't farm Coils at will simply because you cant strictly pug it with duty finder, you need a group from party finder / your own for that and they aren't always people available ... im very much waitin that patch that allow us to pug Coils via DF along with, hopefully, levi and moogle because right now its a borefest

Atma farming is boring, under-stimulating and unrewarding 99% of the time. IT'S JUST NOT FUN. Games should be fun. Atma fate farming was a very, very bad idea and everyone is voicing that.

Furthermore, you get through that hell, and then you have to spend even more time doing even MORE OF NOTHING - waiting for fates to pop. Standing there in a game, waiting. WAITING. Who plays games to wait?!?!

It makes me mad that the developers of FF think that I/we don't have better things to do with my life than run in circles repeating the same, boring fates over and over, or logging on to do nothing and wait. Life's too short to be this let down and pissed off by a video game. I just can't do it... I'll never get my atma. And if that's the case... I'm done progressing in this game I guess. That makes me sad. After all the work, and all the fun I had, it's come to this? So... immensely... disappointed. ; ;

Once you feel compelled to rush content and get your Relic Atma/Animus as soon as possible, you have ceased enjoying the game in its literal sense.

Atma didn't make you lose enjoyment, you yourself has made gaming "not fun"

Zodiac weapon quest and grind are currently a joke. I'm all for having to grind my way for a content/item but it has to be meaningful. Currently it's long and the exact definition of boredom because I actually don't need to be on the quest to take part in the content the books makes me farm (plus I've already completed that content lots of times).

The main issue is the lack of specific content tied to the atma weapons and the fact that most of the related content has been in the game from the very beginning of 2.0. So yeah it's a grind, no it's not fun, please stop putting this sort of crap in the game.

Oh because finding a progression group or making a static group is such an easy thing to do. Trying to make an static group and joining progression groups for over a week and so far only cleared Garuda EX, and hadn't even finished coil 1.
Farming atma is the only way you can get ilvl 100 weapon without sitting on PF hoping someone will join a static group you are trying to form, and wiping bazillion times in progression group

SE is asking us to choose between Boredom and Frustation. No thanks, i hate both.
