Lost motivation..

I actually don't have a lot to do in this game anymore, I have all classes at 50 (been playing since 1.0), I craft and gather, I do coil and have done all the story based content, so outside of that the only thing to do is farm my Zodiac.

I hate fate with a passion and think its the shittiest thing in the game, I am not a fan of RNG but don't mind grinding if I now I am making progress.

Does this make sense ?

Because if you have nothing else to do with the game, playing a quest that doesn't appeal to you doesn't sound like it should be your first choice of action...go play something else?


When i'm bored with the fun content in a game, the last thing I want to do is play the boring content in a game. I mean...like, why?


Seriously, just go do something else. People are free to complain about dumb crap on the forums all they want. I just hope they know how silly it looks.

The weapon appeals to me, the second part of the quest appeals to me ...

I don't find farming fates boring so much as frustrating.

Ultimately you are right though, I shouldn't want to do content that isn't appealing which is part of the issue I have with the first part of the Zodiac quest.

I would enjoy the quick access to the weapon, but I am 100% against grindy content, so i'm ignoring it completely. Well lucky me, everything Square added in 2.2 (that ISNT atma) requires no RNG grinding or fate farming!


I was against them adding in shitty content like this to begin with, but i'm so grateful it's one that's actually viable to completely ignore. Which is why I don't really get the complaining behind it.
