    Please don't make me fail a leve if I D/C ; ;

    Not one of the hugest problems in the game but as it just happened to me, and I am sure when it happens to you, you are equally frustrated.

    First had a fully linked Dunesfolk leve, with GA on and only 4 people. First Mongrel we kill 1238S SP great, kill the second and same again 1238 SP. On the way to the next set and I D/C ; ;

    My LS waited for me to return and I went back to camp to join back in the leve but now I have lost my link and wasted my GA and only get 253 SP a mob now ; ;

    Like I said not a massive problem and there are other things more deserving of time but if you could squeeze in a fix for this that would be great.

    The reason they wont change this cause it could be easily abused so i don't think it would happen.
    You could easily force DC and keep restarting the leve-quest.

    I am not asking to restart the leve just because I D/C I just want to be able to continue with my link and GA intact when I rejoin. Of course they shouldn't allow you to restart as then could and would be easily abused.

    I agree Alexia

    I have lost lots of Leves and Exp because i DC halfway through. It was put across in the Alpha about not losing your leve and just picking up where you left off, but it stayed the same, hopefully this will be fixed.

    To prevent abusing it would be pretty simple. Lose the leve, but you are able to restart right away when you come back. However, you start at the exact point you were.

    If you had killed 3/6 monsters, you would start again at 3/6. Also, only players that left the leve in the exact same point as you can enter your leve again (so, if you crash and everyone else finish the leve, they won't be able to join you this second time).

    Thats ridiculous and I find it rather sad that you would even think that. Did you play FFXI? What happened when you d/ced during a BCNM? Dynamis? Salvage? Nyzul? Assaults? Boss fights for storylines?

    The clock kept running. You weren't kicked out and your party waited for you to log back in. Stop trying to defend things that don't work with stupidity.

    Ahh but what if your party killed a mob or 2 before they realised you had d/c. I think an easier solution would be just to make it so when you rejoin (leve-share) you still get the bonus that the rest of the party are getting. The system already know's how many links have been made so already knows what SP/EXP should be awarded to party members now it just need's to apply that to people who join mid leve, like in the case of when you d/c.

    Can't do anything about the GA though I suppose but at least getting the links back would be better than nothing.

    That's something that has to be addressed asap and not only because of guildleves, D/C is a huge issue also during NM fights, it happened to me to wipe because of massive D/C and there's someone D/Cing in almost every NM run.

    I've had this happen and it is pretty frustrating, especially when you just start a leve with a reward you really want. I wish we could just continue exactly where we left off.

    Best solution that I see is the one used in virtually every other game:

    When you disconnect your character is still in the group but it says OFFLINE instead of your name. You are still a member of the party until removed by the leader. This will keep you within the instance portion of the leve and let you continue from wherever you or your party left off.

    These are simple concepts people. I don't care if you don't like copying other games. Simple concepts that work and work well shouldn't need to be reinvented for the sake or reinventing.
