Sands, Oils, and Undentified stones

So with the new patch we have Sands of Time, Oil of Time, and Unidentified Allagan tomestomes, all of which are applied to Weathered ilvl 100 gear to convert them into 110. Sands for body gear and weapons; Oil for accessories and shield; Unidentified Allagan Tomestone to get the Weathered weapon (to upgrade with the Sands).

I haven't, however, had much success with finding information on where these drop. A lot of speculation that they're Coil drops but nothing so far of someone saying "got Sands on T6" or anything.

Would anyone who has found these like to enlighten me?

I am extremely interested in all this too. At this time everything is still speculations and conjectures. What information we do have:

-They are not bought anywhere, from vendors in mor dhona or anything, as can be constated both IG and through datamining;
-Yoshi-P said something along the line of having to run coil to get highest ilvl gear, supporting them being drops in Coil;
-They are not guaranteed drop, if even drops, in T6, as at least 5 teams have killed T6 and none got any.

Possibilities:
-They are rare drops from trash in Coil (since you can only do it once anyway, and would prevent people trying to skip it as much as possible).
-They are rare drops on top of classic 2 chests in coils
-They are one of the drops in one or both of the 2 chests in each turn
-They are only found in turns above turn 6, for example oil in turn 7, sand in turn 8, unidentified in turn 9

Sounds dubious at this time that they would be somewhere else from Coil, as most other stones are turned at this point, and everything else is easier than coil by miles.

The unidentified tomes are bought with Soldiery tomes. Just go searching the tome vendor and you'll find them.

The Sands/Oils I'm 90% sure drop from Coil as a token system to upgrade Soldiery gear for those who can't get Coil drops.

So that's how you upgrade that gear. I saw the weathered gear from the vendors, and noticed that the weapon can be upgraded to higher than the new "relic" gear. I think that's the route I'm going to take for my main, to upgrade this way. Now I just need to do T1-T5 lol. Thanks for the info guys.

You need the Unidentified to get the base weapon, I don't understand why that would come from Coil. I completely understand why the upgradable drop items would come from Coil (Sands/Oil). Didn't Yoshi mention the ways to weapons would be one through tomes, raiding, and relics?

No they're not. You're talking about the tokens for 130 soldier tomes each.

Indeed. As far as we can tell, no one has seen any of the 3 (unidentified, oil, sand). Either they are super rare drops from somewhere, or they are deeper into coil.
