The name of the game is that omnicrafters aren't going to be coddled, and it's time to settle on a specialization, a favorite, if you will.

It's easy to get to 50 in all classes, but *mastery* of any one is going to require significant investment, and the prospect of mastering them all -should- dispel the illusion that it's something you should expect to do in a short time frame, or continue to do as more crafting related content is released.

What bugs me is that there's no advacement in crafter equipment, we're still stuck in the i55 stone age despite the persistent increases in crafting difficulty.

Another significant time investment but without the backstory or end benefit? There's no motivation to do it.
    stupid post limit..

Yoshi's never been a particular friend to the 'Crafting as a full game experience' concept. The idea right now is that someone gets to 50 in their craft of choice.. and either progresses laterally for more self sufficiency, or investing vertically for the Mastery.

We barely get a class quest story progression, and aren't involved in any progressive storyline, and have no gear progression of our own beyond i55. Nobody's laughing, because nobody in SE even cares. So no, it's not a 'joke', it's just what we have to deal with until someone cares to toss us a bone.
