Would you pay a higher sub for a cash shop free MMO?

Higher sub with everything (fantasia, extra retainers, etc.) attainable in-game.

Sooo... The options are...
A: Cosmetic/covienence items and/or optional services like server transfer or name change being offered for a optional fee should players decide they want them or completely ignore them if they don't, on a cash shop.

B: subscription price increased to all players to have these items added, thus setting a precident of raising the subscription price any time new cosmetic items/optional services are added

I pay $7.99 because I have legacy it feels like I get my moneys worth so I don't mind stuff like retainers costing extra.

As long as its for fun little vanity things. Nothing that provides an advantage in game. But maybe minions or special pre-programmed glamour crystals. Not a big fan of FF7, but Cloud's outfit in Advent Children was pretty cool. I would pay a buck or two for a coat like that.

Perhaps if SE hadn't wasted so much money/resources on XIV 1.0 & FFXIII:I-III.

They're raking in cash just fine on FFXIV:ARR, we shouldn't have to pay for their previous blunders.

Why is everyone assuming that SE is losing money and if we don't pay more then they'll go under and will need to shutdown the whole game?

As I understand, ARR has exceeded their expectations and is bringing more profit than what they had in mind.

All of these could add a hell of a lot more variety to the game, enrich the play experience and give SE money to build better content for the future

Fantasia and server transfers are OK. Mounts, minions, clothes, are not. Inventory slots I actually think is closely tied to stuff like exp boosts and drop rate boosts.. I kind of hate them. But I do need them, so I'll buy all..

They can be in game, can be crafted, can be earned. I don't want to have to pay, but I love having my collections complete. I don't care if you call me selfish for not wanting you to pay, but I'm sure I also think those who wants to pay are selfish.
Just raise sub fees to $20 but promise us you'll never go down P2W and I'm more than happy. Yes, having cooler looking gear=win.

Also, even though i hate it so much I'll still pay for every cosmetic this game have to offer, probably. Unfortunately I don't pay them happily though.

For optional services like Fantasia, (Re)Naming cards, server transfer and optional retainers I do not mind an aditional fee because I do not need them right now.
If I do in the future, I'll consider paying a little money for it as these are optional services and not integral parts of my gameplay.
This'll be cheaper than having to pay extra on top of your subscription each month unless you have a reason to change name/appearance/server every so often.

If they however start adding clothing, minions, mounts and other vanity items which have nothing to do with adding an additional service whatsoever, then it's time to speak with my voice and wallet.
(This excluding extras obtained through buying actual merchandise like the Dalamud and Bahamut minions.)
