This is an incredibly stupid move on the part of the "exploiters"... most intelligent people will leave / kick them, and then report and blacklist these people. Great way to put a black mark on your name and ensure you never get a decent group for anything else ever again.

i have a hard time believing that this stupid scam actually works. especially given that you cant trade in dungeons/raids. you agree to pay in the turn, finish the turn, and leave the party without paying. what are they going to do? report you for not paying up on their scam?

I don't know the details, just wanted to get the word out. There ARE people who are desperate to advance in the game and who dont have the skills. As I understand it or understood it there WAS a way to ensure payment but again, i have no details. I hope SE takes notice. And i hate to say it to those who do not know yet, but there are literally MILLIONS of kids in Japan, the US and elsewhere who are victims of bullying who NEVER tell their stories. I am a bit saddened to see already in the replies here a lack of sympathy and empathy. I do appreciate those who like me feel outrage and shame over this happening in our fine game. Please encourage anyone you hear of being scammed or bullied to report it. Together we CAN help make the world and the game better.

Well as far as I know you cannot trade in coil? So just say OK then let them finish and leave and give them nothing.

I think the world should worry less about bullying and more about something like sex trafficking or murders....organized crime...something.
