I really doubt people will tank so they can make 5250 gil for a headache of a run. If they don't like tanking 5k isn't going to make them do it.

while i am not a terrible tank (i do have my bad days) i will be spamming dungeons if i am making 5k a dungeon need that mula! my week will prolly actually look like this.

dungeons for money..hmm wonder if it affects 5 minute guildhiests that would be amazing.

You get bonus exp and gil is the only thing you get from the role bonus.

The adventurer in need bonus is, and always has been, gil and seals.

Edit: Well I'd be! I made a new character and saw that there actually is EXP bonuses for adventurers in need, but for some reason it will not show up if you're level 50 (though EXP bonuses always show up for other stuff even if you're already 50), so I had never seen the EXP bonus. I stand corrected!

For those of us who have 30m its nothing. Legacy servers have a lot more gil in the economy then fresh servers and the reward does not adjust for server inflation.

i'm on a Legacy server, we still have lots of Large plots that are not sold. so the amount of people with 30M+ is very small even on Legacy servers. you're not even the 1%, you're the 1% of the 1%.

There are plenty of good tanks available now. Just no reason for them to go tank.

Given that currently, the bonus is 40 bonus myth by queing as tank for high level roulette, does this mean that the bonus will change to 280 soldiery tomes??? So we will be able to cap out new tomes with a mere 2 roulette runs as tanks? Somehow I think that would make a lot less tanks available...Somehow I doubt this is how it will work, but LOL if true!

im sure its already been mentioned, but the bonus tanks receive in the duty roulette is only gil, everyone gets the bonus myth/philos and xp whether you are an "in need" class or not

7 fold would equate to around 5000 Gil and 1000 grand company seals. The GG seals may be the best part of this, depending what will be sold by vendor.

Only thing that will make me play WAR or PLD are those mounts....Depending on how to get them. If they are just random prizes for playing Tank, and not forcing me to do a duty with the role I will level up to 50 for that reason only. I don't plan on getting past 15 on either just for the possible need for their class to be 15 for future jobs. If the way to get the mounts is a bit outrageous, I'll just leave my tank classes at 15 and never touch them again.

I'm not *that* terrible a tank, and I'll do it for 5k gil. Heck, I tank low-level roulette on my 50 PLD/WAR right now for the 5k gil. >_> The boost to seals would only sweeten the deal, if we'll need them to buy venture tokens.
