You see, SE's direction is like that moment in the Spiderman movie where he has to choose his girlfriend or the kids. It's a constant double edged sword for them whether to make quick profit out of the new players or hang on to existing dedicated players. They obviously need to feel the punishment of the risks they take, it's a cut-throat business after all.

The ramblings you see here on the forums is the result of whatever SE takes because angry customer is an angry customer. You can't save everyone.

I know this guy, good friends with him actually, and he is a DIE-HARD Final Fantasy Fan! No seriously, if you ask him anything about Final Fantasy, and be ready to listen to the next 20 hours of him rambling about that 1 game you asked a question on before he even gets to the part you are having problems with. He is truly a HARDCORE Fan. He tried to get me to play FFXI when it came out, and for a few years after it came out, because he has seen me in many MMO's doing what I do best, Tanking. And he needed a reliable tank, not reliable in how often I can be on, but reliable as in "Fire and Forget"

Well, even his Super Hardcore FANDOM of Final Fantasy, and he quit playing shortly after 2.1 was released. Even the Hardcore Fans will eventually choose if their Fandom is worth the price they are paying, or pull their money and go elsewhere.

I felt like 1.0 just before it got shut down was the better game. It had you think more than 2.0 does.

Like killing the Giant Buffalo was awesome when you had to knock him down by hitting his legs with enough damage so he would stop aoeing everyone near it.

Except that 1.0 had more time to reach that point. 2.0 is still fairly new. Revisit when equal time has passed.

Retainers aren't really needed. We only got 1 in 1.0 and only had 50 slots or something at the start.
They should just drop 2nd retainers and just make 1 retainer hold 200 items, sell 40 items, 1 venture option.
If people just need more space toss out your junk or sell it. Most of your crafting mats only go for 10~50gil each anyway.

Your Armor bag is enough space for all your jobs you play for gear. SE just need toget on top of storage stuff for events also.
Also make features to burn through old useless pieces of gear. SB Primal Weapons, Dungeon Gear, etc..

Name change should be free & always option when changing to another server. No need to create another character for it anymore...
Name changes to same server will lead to problems of people that have been ousted by the players on that server.

Fantasia should only be 2.99/4.99. If any higher I wouldnt buy them.
