Seems like the "easy on the eyes" / "if I'm going to be staring at someone's backside for hundreds of hours it should be appealing" reasons people have for rolling female characters is much the same reason why I (a female) like rolling male characters. I rolled a male elvaan in FFXI and did so again in FFXIV. Figured if I was going to be watching this character all day, why not make it something I would enjoy looking at?
