Titan HM needs a change for those who can't devote all their time to this game.

As mentioned above... get at least 4 or 5 people you know are competent in the fight, then DF the rest (unless you can get 8 competent).

Tank has the easiest job, (watch MB and avoid few bomb.) why don't you level up a dps or healer, then you will understand why they "suck" at titan.

Speaking as a DPS, if I died on Titan it was because I wasn't familiar with the fight yet or not yet using a VPN. Titan HM really doesn't require that much. . .

My only suggestion would be to keep the same group if you can and practice together, if the same people keep derping replace them because 99% of the time it will be "sorry i got lag" and guess what, those people will always have lag and will always cause the party to fail.

99% of the time they are right : their brain is lagging. "Oh, a plume under my feet, I'll move after my cast".

This fight is fine as it is. It is a challenge, and, by mean, creating a new party everytime you wanna go is stupid. Because you can progress enough to beat the fight and still go with people who just start. What I mean is simple : this game is a MMO, so play with other people. If you want to do everything in pickup, you will always end up getting stucked because you are with random people.
DF/PF are not meant to beat challenges by "just hoping the right people will join". Make friends, find a FC, find a LS, find some people, and accept you're playing a MMO.
If you want be able to do everyting in pickup groups, forget the concept of challenges. If you want challenges, forget the idea of doing everything in pickup groups. Simple logic, actually.....If you can easily kill the boss in a random pickup group, no FC will have challenge anymore.

It took me 65 tries to beat Titan HM the first time. Since then I have only beaten him 2 other times. Funny thing I noticed is that as the fight goes on, after wipes, I have a harder time. First couple of wipes I am the last one standing, but as we play more, I get closer to the top. Not sure what causes this, could be getting tired of the fight, because continually wiping is very annoying. I play on a PS3 with a wired connection and still have a hard time.
