the idea of the Wutai economy failing, because of one person, is a failed idea... SE will have to step in, and take out all the RMT, Bots, and make certain items drop from old skool 24-72 hour pop NM

That's what i would do also ^^ use and abuse P.Falcon's two faced kindness. There always has to be one (if not more) with the "holier than thou" attitude. Still on his high horse cause he is ranking up his miner, to supply his crafts of choice. Kudos to you sir.

Like many other I bet, I don't craft for profit (Still nothing to buy in this game) I craft to equip my classes. If a random player ask me to craft something, ill tell them I'll do it for free. A Steel Morter +3 is a Steel morter +3 regardless how you come to obtain it. Weather you craft it with the mats you farmed, or mats you bought, or bought it, it's the same. There are and always will be multiple paths to a target.

Players with a lot of gil are like gil sinks in this game. We take lots of gil out the economy that we never really use. If it was more evenly distributed then we'd have lots of inflation. I don't know why I bother crafting to make gil to be honest. I'm not convinced SE are going to add anything worth spending it on any more.

I'm a communist R50 GSM. Never been north of 10M Gil. My LS makes everything for each other. Isn't that how it should be? Gil should be essentially useless if you have a good working community.

Me and my crafter friends on Selbina decided something like this too. I'm not gonna charge people to do materia unless their an uber dick haha. Charging people ridiculous amounts may cause new people to be like "omg this game is effing inflated" or some other bs excuse, I just personally don't feel right about it.

At the end of the day I expect to be paid for the time it takes to stop what I'm doing, change class, set the right skills, equip the right gear, run for support, trade mats and do the actual synth. I'm not going to charge you ridiculous amounts but I do expect to be paid for my time. I normally leave the tip up to the other person but last time I did that he tipped nothing and didn't even give me the shards so I came out of it at a small financial loss plus loss of time. May have to rethink that one and charge a flat fee of X gil per minute.

Exceptions are always made for LS mates and obvious new players of course. They get their stuff done for free.

I agree, and exceptions are made for allies of the LS as well

If a friend asks me for a synth I always do them for free (even i have to buy some materials) with-in reason. If that friend asked me for a Jesus-Stick requiring a 2M NM drop that i didn't have. I would tell him/her to bring me the mat!

Same goes for repairs ect. I kinda view it like Karma.

    EDIT:
This is not to say I have any problems with people selling items (seiing between Main LS mates i think that is a little cheesy though). I just think that there is 0 need to really focus on it, if you play with good people you'll get what-ya need.

Lol you and Scarface. You don't see the obvious conclusion of your actions right in front of you.
Go ahead. Give me your grind mats. Both of you. Best start counting how many people are doing the same thing you are though, because I'll give them their grind fest back to them just the same as you. So go ahead lol...give me your mats to make into weapons. Tell all your friends I'll do the same for them. Because really the profit isn't in the crafter. I can do that all day for 30 of you. The profit is in the materials.

Where I want it. So go ahead. This fires you from being a crafter, where I really don't want you, and hires you to be what you really are. Farmers.

You work for 3 hours, give me what you managed, then I spend 3 minutes to turn it into what you really earned. Simple. Easy. I can do that for the entire server's GS and BS needs.

Turns wannabe crafters into farmers. Again, exactly what I want.

Haha I already have three people in line already. And the best part is, each and every one of you thinks you're going to win.

    House always wins, boys.

Diplomats has some type of "I win", "we win" mentality...

I think you need a congratulations pop up screen with stars and flashy lights....

Lol...at where the profit is...I won't even go there...

@ TT... Who cares? lol... I drink beer with my cookies, no need for milk.

    That's how a pimp does.
