^ this.
Other games done it and it's what they should do really imho.
They coud let us choose the color! Like we coud choose it on the FF menus on the old FF titles! And the inner circle moving coud be an option too!
Jokes aside, I don't know what's up with this areas. Everyone assumed when they appeared that they were wildstar areas, but they're not. So... What's up with that inner circle? We had few shining lights and we had to add more?![]()
i like new ones better but they could just add both as an option in config

I would like the option to choose red or gold color. I prefer the old red color.

Eventhough I didnt initially like the new colour scheme, they have grown on me quite quickly and I am now used to them and quite prefer them to the old red.
IMHO some things just like this can be put down to... it works and was put in place to help those who are colour blind (a good important thing IMO) and if it had been in place from day one then this thread wouldn't exist lol.
I don't think they will spend the time and effort to add a colour change option at this time though, but I see the op's point. Hopefully the vast majority of us are okay with the change so far, can take it in hand, and concentrate on asking the devs to improve other aspects of the game![]()

It's not a good change though...
Desert? yellow on yellow makes it impossible to see.
Ice? Yeah, no benefit there for colorblind people.
Water? People said it would be visible, but it's not. It becomes this terrible light shade of green in a blue/green colored piece of water...
Please bring back the RED... At the very least as an option (that everyone will take)

Like its going to make you play any better with the old one. The only time I find the color a problem is on bard AOE on top of it.
I think it may have been changed because red on a green floor (grass terrain) is difficult for people whom are colorblind to distinguish between.

I hate to be negative-nancy here, but is this better then?
Colorblind people can more easily destinguish Red on a Green Floor now (which was perfect to us), in exchange, both kinds of people are now virtually unable to see targeting markers in the sand. White snow and a light yellow targeting marker isnt noticable either... And in Water... yeah, such a vague green hue that's easily missed entirely.
Colorblind:
+ Gained the ability to more accurately notice Red in grassy area's.
- Lost the ability to see targeting markers in Sand entirely.
- Made it really hard to see targeting markers in Snow.
- Made it hard to see targeting markers in water.
Not Colorblind:
- Lost the ability to see targeting markers in Sand entirely.
- Made it really hard to see targeting markers in Snow.
- Made it hard to see targeting markers in water.
Excellent Trade-off.
In other news, i understand a job opening is now going to open up in the adjustment planning for UI changes. I'd like to apply and take over the job of who ever thought up this idea.
You're wrong. Everything you said is wrong.I hate to be negative-nancy here, but is this better then?
