Still patiently waiting for the Chocobo reset

I could name a dozen people off the top of my head who are eagerly awaiting a simple reset because they made a mistake between the time they began (and didnt know any better) and the FOTM knee jerk reactions months later.

And i dont know all that many people in this game.

If their plan is to fully implement the reset feature as part of the breeding program, then in the meantime they will piss off a great number of people demanding such a simple fix. We have ZERO indication when Chocobo breeding will arrive and therefore the Chocobo skill reset feature.

In all fairness to SE, the little help window that popped up when you first got your companion EXPLAINED that you would only receive the barding if you spent all points in a single class. YOU WERE WARNED. So many people wouldn't have this problem if they just READ THE HELP WINDOWS.

I would love to get a reset on my chocobo's stats. The last time I saw anything about this, it was September.

Bardings can still be unique in that they're only accessible if all points are in one tree (because it would be a little silly to see a tank chocobo in a white mage barding).

Maybe a community rep could chime in on this? I would love to see some kind of feature implemented in 2.2!

I am pretty sure it didn't - at least not when I got my chocobo back in August. That little help window was probably added in one of the subsequent patches. I read all of the help windows and I had no idea there was chocobo job barding until I saw a screenshot on the forums a few months later - where people asked if it would be in the game.

Not that I want to reset my Chocobos, cause their roles is rly perfect to the main classes of my characters.
But...I want more bardings, better ways to train chocobos, bring them to duties, or even some special Choco-dungeons =0...

And maybe our own Chocobo Farm :3
Wha? We have 8 classes we can change anytime (and achivements for leveling them all!)...sometimes my Chocobo just dun fit in the party...like both of us as healers or tankers?!
It would be nice to change my Chocobo class OR summon another one with a different class.....or even color.

The whole Chocobo thing is a mess.

You can't reset it, you can't use it in dungeons, you can't do mixed build, he's useless for story missions, there is basically nothing in the game world that requires help from him (since everything is baby-proof)... what is the point of this animal, I ask?

A tank type to a SCH makes me feeling an entire party in a single player (Player = DPS in Cleric Stance, Eos = Healer, Chocobo = Tank)
A healer type to DPS n TANK makes u solo a LOT of things on open world.

I did not get any help window explaining anything about barding, the point allocation being final. I can't even remember getting a Help window AT ALL.
Maybe it will randomly pop upseveral levels later. Like the one for mooching that popped up after I used it several times, or the one for LS after I got invited in my 6th =.=

I am sorry but this needs to happen. Some time soon too. It is getting beyond ridiculous how long a simple fix has gone without even the slightest hint.
