I am 100% sure SE would be fine with you using it to play FFXIV with.

It doesn't matter how many times anyone says it's against the ToS, I have mentioned Steam on many threads on this forum in the past and I have received no warnings about it.

Please stop saying applications such as Steam are against the game's ToS, it's getting really old now. It's especially aggrivating when I'm trying to help people out.

Also saying "oh but SE shouldn't force me to find workarounds" is very childish. Why say "no" to simple, easy and legitimate solutions? Why is it so difficult to DEAL WITH IT while SE sort things out on their end in the meantime?

I seriously don't understand the mentality of a few people on this forum.
Maybe I'm just being trolled. Please say you're trolling me so I can be relieved of the feeling that some people are mindless enough to say that using Steam is something which could potentially get you banned.

I'm not trying to undermine you. I'm just saying that despite the lack of enforcement, you should still atleast mention to people you help that it is a POTENTIAL risk. Like most people said, SE would have to be crazy to ban such minor offenses, but you never know.
