Thanks for all the feedback on the topic of Egi sizes!
We've shared your feedback (and images and art!) with the graphics team so we could get an update for you all.

The team explained to us that originally the size of the Egi were a bit larger than they are now, but after discussing and checking various aspects of this larger size, they decided to use the size that they are now.
We're anxious for you to try out summoner once it's available, and look forward to gathering more feedback then.

I'm fine with the size of our Egis for now. But as our power grows (character level), I really hope they considering increasing the detail and size of our Egis. I'd like our pets to grow with us. Nothing astronomical like the size of Primals. Just so you can tell a Lv. 80 Summoner is stronger than a Lv.50.

Strictly gameplay reasons. A large pet is nothing but a nuisance to every other person fighting the target. Working as intended.

Now I'm no smn at the moment but I do plan on leveling it but I don't mind the size of the egis currently. I did play smn a lot in ffxi and I enjoyed it a lot but I did feel that some of the summons where a bit big. Titan for ex he was massive and took up a chunk of the screen so having smaller ones I feel is a nice change.

For me the size doesn't bother me, it's the appearance of them. They look nothing like the larger primals like at all. If they looked like a small version of the large primals I wouldn't mind because they actually look really cooool. This made me abit sad to see.. but ofc it could be worse lol I've gotten over it but it still does bother me because I mean.. FF's summoner/primals are known for being these big beautiful and dominant creatures. And what we get is Garuda looking like some sort of parrot/bird thing and Titan looking like a huge chicken nugget... I still think they're kawaii! don't get me wrong XD And I don't mean to come across unappreciative because I really am! Please don't hate me for my opinion x.x Like I said I don't mind the size but why couldn't they make them the size that Chocobos are anyway?.. Chocobos are big and they can fight with you. So idk what the issue was as to why that they didn't do that? Like in FFXI they looked so cool and so big! D:< /cries
