this dungeon isnt as hard as people believe, people just make it hard.......its only really a pain for healers imo.....but its mostly knowing where to stand and proper stunning
Pharaos maybe a "little" harder that Coperbell/Haukke HM's , tho Copperbell & Haukke on speed runs already ;P so soon as they nerf pharaos maybe it will be too lol .
Doesn't work. Roulette requires ilvl 48.Get a gearset at i47 when you enter the roulette

Ran Pharos Sirius the first time last night as a healer with DF, it was fairly easy until the final boss Siren. wiped few time just to figure things out.
It's total hell with a fresh 50 healer. Anyway, they specifically mentioned nerfing Siren who I do think is a bit much difficulty wise. It is rough as a healer and is likely godawful if you don't have a Relic or better as your healing potency is noticeably lower since Siren rides on getting people to full HP in time.
I think they need to increase the cast time on Lunatic Voice, it's too fast for a very-likely-party-wipe move. Also maybe some sort of indicator as to where she is if she goes on the edge of the arena, or better yet a set pattern as to when she goes to the edges. She takes her sweet time getting into position and her move comes out quick so you can just get blindsided.
I agree that the cast time of Lunatic Voice is fast. After 3 Shield Bash she becomes immune to Stun. As soon as I see her pop Lunatic Voice I hit Spirits Within, but this only seems to hit her about 50% of the time before Voice.
Siren isn't just a healer check, its a PT check. DPS needs to down the zombies quickly so the Healer and Tanks don't get grabbed. Healer needs to keep HP top off and Tanks need to watch for Lunatic Voice and avoid getting grabbed.
I had one DF run where the healer kept arguing with all the DPS and basically said flat out "I dont need to move around the room to avoid the zombies, you should be killing them faster" and pretty much didn't move from one spot the entire fight. Even after every wipe, the healer still would not move to dodge. I had to help pick up healing while tanking. We got through it eventually, but it wasnt a fun experience.
Other than that I rather enjoy running Pharos. Especially when I get newbies and I don't mean that sarcastically.
I've found the healer to be the bottleneck of PS. I've ran it a number of times, mostly successfully, but each wipe on Siren has been attributable to a healer. That said, I don't imagine that zone being fun in any way at all on a healing job.I had one DF run where the healer kept arguing with all the DPS and basically said flat out "I dont need to move around the room to avoid the zombies, you should be killing them faster" and pretty much didn't move from one spot the entire fight. Well the fight WAS purposely designed by SE to give healers 90% of the work to do. I mean, every mechanic of it ultimately creates scenarios that, if the healer is just a smidge off in timing, it's a full party wipe. Party-wide healing debuff, individual healing debuff, charming effect that can only be stopped BY healing, constant bleed on tanks that need to be cleansed every 10 seconds, mobs that prevent you from casting...the whole fight is one big "f' you healers." I'm not saying the fight is impossible, I've done it plenty of times, but it does create scenarios in PUG groups (more so when either the tank or DPS are new) in which flames get thrown out towards the healer due to 1 mistake because that 1 mistake can cost the whole fight. This is simply because DPS and Tanks who have never done the fight as a healer have no idea what kind of burden it is if they aren't even attempting to help the healer out in any way. This is especially true for WHM as they don't have any instant heals on-the-go with the aid of the fairy and the use of lustrate to bypass the healing debuff. This means the DPS must kill the crawling mobs because there is less room to run around to avoid them since every heal requires you to stop and cast it (risking getting caught). Everything has a cast time, and everything is on the GCD...if your party isn't supporting you as a WHM, the fight WILL end badly every time.
The problem with Pharos is the ridiculously low ilevel requirement for entry. It's painfully obvious that they never even tried playtesting the dungeon at that level. If they raised the requirement to somewhere around ilvl 65-70, it would be fine.
