They have already mentioned Chocobo Breeding will be in XIV.
They have already mentioned Chocobo Breeding will be in XIV.
We had this in 1.0, i used to setup my little shop of leather goods at Camp Drybone and shout advertisments for new people that needed gear. I made a mint from crafting low level gear back then, shame they removed it! I never did quite understand why they did.
Another one I would like to see come back................
(6) From XI - Personal Bazaar - Would be great for all especially crafters (for those who don't know about the personal Bazaar, it is basically your own market board and other players can see it when they examine you. you could tell if someone had items up in their Bazaar by a special icon next to their name) I liked it in FFXI as it actually encouraged community chat and allowed me to sell items like foodstuff to players near dungeons, etc. and save other players the time and effort to run/warp to cities/npcs just for 1 or more items.

(1) From XIV beta - Journal customization -Scheduled for 2.2
(2) From XI - Chocobo Breeding - -Alrdy said in Development
(3) From XI - Gardening - -Also in Development, but only Gysahl Greens thus far
(4) From XIV/XI - Ferry and Airship options.... to choose between doing the journey the short cut way with cutscene, or to do it the long way to fish and find NM's just like in FFXI
-^^ Interesting Idea, but doubtful
(5) From XI & XIV beta - Open world NM's with rare/unique drops. -Unlikely Since FATES are the new Open World NMs/HNMs
(6) From XI - Personal Bazaar - Also Unlikely due to the mass disapproval of it in 1.0
(7) From XI - Robust Auto Translate with full JP input. -Would like to see this as well
(8) Ability to have Minions in Dungeons -A hopeful change I would like to see
(9) Have the facility to do a Name Change -I believe they are working on this to be input to the MogStation
(10) The depth of crafting from 1.0. I loved to produce boots piece by piece, similar to producing real boots. Combined with the skill usage to date it would be supercalifragilisticexpialligotious.
I like Random-Number-Generator
'cause I'm able to accept that
a dice normally has six sides
a pyramid has 5 sides
a toast has 2 sides
AND I CAN'T PREDICT WHICH SIDES IT FALLS TO.

From FFXI:
* Explorable Dungeons with no time limit or player limit. This will not be on a instanced server.
* Treasure Chest lock picking (Thief Job use Thief tools to pick treasure chests)
* Jobs: Thief, Ninja, Red Mage, Dancer, Bard (like it was in FFXI, not FFXIV), Samurai, Dark Knight
* Crafting be profitable
* Larger areas compared to FFXIV
* Unique stats on gear
* Gear doesn't get replaced every update by new gear
* Gardening
* Elemental Staffs
* Elements mean something aka Elemental Wheel. Example: You can't do Fire on Ifrit, you should do Ice on Ifrit.
* A sense of danger and exploration
* Bring back Pirates attacking sea ships and the Kraken
* a item that is like the Kraken club is is just as hard to get to give players something to work towards or to wish they had but never can have.
* not everything being easy to obtain to keep people busy or looking forward to things.
* More Cities to hang out in
* Better Holiday Events, no buying items from a vender to get everything.
* Bring back magic scrolls
* Bring back Sneak and Invisable
* Some End game activities like sea and sky
More things I would like from FFXI to be in FFXIV ARR:
*Equip capes for unique stats (do not have to be visable)
*Relic weapons having unique stats and giving you special skills that only these weapons can perform
*Moon phases
*BCNMS
*Pop HNMS
*furniture that gives you a bonus by using the FFXI version of Feng Shui
*Beastmen Gods/Kings
*Exp parties
*A form of signet
*fame in towns and cities, not just for the beastmen
*beastmen attacking towns
*adventuring fellows (just like companions but they are humanoid npcs that talk back to you and have different personalities, you can leveling them and do quests that unlock jobs and skills for them.)
*More open world content, dungeons, explorable areas, etc.
*Bazaars and Bazaar comments
Things from FFXIV 1.0-1.23 that I want in FFXIV ARR:
* hat and eyewear in separate slots
*belts are viewable on our character
*higher resolution textures
*areas larger than how they are now
*explorable areas
*being able to wear two different earrings
*being able to wear two different wrists
*underwear top and bottom slots
*having a sub weapon that you can throw (like in FFXIV 1.0 my character could throw axes if I put them in my sub weapon slot)

I like alot of suggestions I see alot of what people have been asking for since launch of 2.0 that has fallen on deaf ears.
Ones I want to see most
- Unique stats on gear (XIV 1.0 and XI)
- Crafting and Gathering being worthwhile (XIV 1.0 and XI)
- Open World Dungeons (XIV 1.0 and XI)
- NMs (Not in Fate) (XI)

From 1.23: The battle system.
Scrap this fps spam-fest dodge and hope your connection doesn't crap out on you BS we've got now.
Give us shepherds and farmers!

From FFXI:
*Nyzul Isle - Super simple to program, endless fun
*BCNMs - Hard to beat, but quite rewarding
*NMs - Make drops bind on pickup, you don't have to farm them but you could if you want
Random:
*Difficult Events - Something that is more then just farming a fate. Or at least make the fate really hard

I am OK with this as long as the following criteria are met.
1. Require that blacklist follows your name change
2. require a minimum one month that players can easily identify you by your old name
3. only one name change per amount of time, maybe once per year unless you can prove that you accidentally named yourself something that has a negative connotation in a language or culture not your own and are now being harassed because of it.
Sorry, i just dont want to see another Bloods or Kenuty from FFXI Phoenix and then seeing them able to change identity.
