Disappointments and regrets of FFXIV

I know this has been said more than once, but cmon the game is still a baby, give it atleast an expansion before u crucify it, i mean look at wow, i played tht game since vanilla and it didnt really take off and rise the ranks and gain such a huge player base until BC (burning crusade) People were complaining and whining about it just like this game then came along that expansion and it became really fun, i just hope they dont screw up like they did and make a god aweful expansion like WOTLK (that was a Real Faceroll). just saying give it some time if the first expansion ends up like how this game is now and there have been no improvememnts then yea crucify away.

These people will never be satisfied until FFXIV is pre-Abyssea FFXI with shinier graphics, more cheap-one-shot mobs everywhere and lower drop rates.

I would agree with u if all these threads wasn't saying the same thing just in a different way. So many people have stated the same faults & to bring them into the forum that's the hole point of the forums in the 1st place so SE will see these threads & try to fix things by using updates leading up to the 2nd EXP pack a lot of these things will in time be fixed. All we know fates might get redone all together & Dungeons may open up for people to explore. sadly U will have to wait & see. A year's time if things haven't slowly started to change & these compliments hault & focus on new things that need to be fixed. Then there will be problems. Problem is after FF14 original flop of a release SE should of done a better job.

KEEP FIGHTING SE U WILL GET IT RIGHT.. wait one last food for thought isn't every MMORPG after its release still kind of in its Beta form with all the updates it will keep getting to fixs problems and to add new things?

of course. and when the expansion come out you will tell me :" cmon the expansion is stil a baby, give it atleast a few month before crucify it." you are right this have been said too many time now. this game have turn into everything i always try to avoid in MMO. i never enjoy Wow and will never like the kind. Yoshi and SE failed me.

I hate this game because they have DPS checks on everything and for some reason its always not enough DPS ... not enough DPS not enough DPS . Well DPS are too busy dodge mechanics usually melee to beable to do any DPS that's usually why .

Not saying that this is always the case but it seems to be more than 90% of the time that Ive been doing extreme modes .

Also in titan HM 90% of the time in DF groups we couldn't kill heart . Banging my head against a brick wall it feels like .

dont put words in my mouth, Ive played plenty of mmos and i have dealt with plenty of disappointments. i Dont care if this game failed you. but let me tell you one thing if you have ever played an mmo you would kno all mmos start out slow and then build up. if this game does not improve by the first expansion. then by all means it has had enough time to change for the better. therefore then it should be flamed if it has not learned from its mistakes

Or you could just stop assuming the worst of everyone and being so cynical. Not all us XI vets are massochists.

Is so many things wrong with ffxiv you can not even think of them all for one post every time you get done you think of a new problem. Characters are ALL exactly the same every warrior is just like every other warrior. Not only skills and stats but gear. There is no point to raiding except for a couple of items in coil(if you even consider an 8 man group a raid) that amount to about a 1 percent increase. Since 2.1 you cant even group with your friends because you are pigeon-holed into the duty roulette. Level every single class to 50 what do you get for it? Nothing. Buy a 20mil-100mil house what do you get? Not a damn thing. And on and on and on.

You do realize this is 2.1 version? The game has been out for 2 1/2 years it is not a baby and I am not surprised they have not fixed anything as a MMO goes it has been failure since 2 1/2 years ago on many things and sadly the few "very FEW" things that i enjoyed in it cannot overide the bad and the continuation of bad to worse. So when you call this a baby make sure it is infact a baby hence 0-6months, this is a retarded toddler that is sniffing paint, read chayala's original post again i am pretty sure you missed a lot of it.
