Okay, seriously: If the problem is you dying, you have to step up and improve your dodging skills. I don't know if it's lag, lack of reaction time or w/e, but this is not a fight you can get carried by PUGs. Work on the issue if it's something you can work on (you not properly dodging), or yes, give it up if it's pure lag you can not get rid of. Gear will not help as much as you think if you're not dodging. Full I90 is already far more than needed, that doesn't stop a lot of full I90 parties from wiping.

If the issue is the other players and you're sure you can 95%+ of the times not be the first one to die, you should start your own parties with severe kicking rules due to failures.

I know some people are against this, but at this point this is the best thing you can do is this: Dedicate one day to that fight, create your party, be merciless with player kicking due to deaths and you should be able to do this after replacing some people. There are a lot of good players out there doing this fight, and quite a few of these players are more likely to join strict parties because they also don't want to lose a lot of their time. I know that if I join a party and someone else screws up 3-4 times on the same thing, I really hope the PT leader replaces him or else I'm the one leaving.

Either that or get really lucky, or work your way to join some farming party or w/e.

I have not had a perfect clear through the Primal EX fights. Every win I have had with either Weekly Clear or Farm groups have been a messy struggle for survival (i.e. feels like a first-time win all over again).

it's not all about gear, it's about quick movement & awareness of surrounding that even a full lvl 90 must have.
Titan ex is just merciless with its instant kill mechanics. You can have a grp with full 90 stuff,but if don't know how to dodge it's over.
The common recipe for failure is slow reaction &/or lags o;

We all cried over Titan HM until people got better at the rotation... it'll be the same with this. Once people get more practice, learn it better, it'll be easy.

I felt the same way. I was doing fine on every run, but someone else would die and things would go wrong.
My Free Company decided to start working on it together, we downed him the same day. Then Ifrit the next.

Get in a Free Company of people that want to learn content and progress. It works wonders ^^/
