Eh if you don't think his last few chat lines were something that Joe Q. Dutyfinder might find offense then I don't know what to tell you. He's not wrong, obviously he was wronged, but opening it to a forum discussion takes it past a strict interpretation of rules. I find it hard to believe his polite fight explanations didn't belie his irritation with his party members. I think generally anyone who makes a big deal out of how polite they were being probably wasn't being that polite.

Got to page 4 of the thread and got bored of reading, so I'll just pop my opinion in here. Everyone needs to lighten up a little. The OP needs to tone his internet voice down a little, though not much really, and everyone else needs to thicken their skin...a lot. While we would all love to live in a world of kittens and rainbows, where no one ever got hurt and everyone loved everyone, we don't, and never will. So what you need to do is drop your freaking ego, SEE what someone is saying, and take a look at things from a different angle. Say you are the bard the OP is saying wasn't attacking adds, and wasn't moving wherever (not personally done this dungeon), and so the OP calls you on it. Instead of seething with hatred that someone dare impune your honor by stating what actually happened, put your ego aside and try a little harder.

Since 2.1 came out I've pretty much been non-stop leveling 7 classes from 15-44 (currently), and I have come across a myriad of bad players (a LOT of them tanks), but every time I do, I try and help them by recommending things to do to improve what they are doing. I almost never tell them they suck, though I flat out called one tank the worst tank ever and to go die in a fire at the end of a Haukke normal mode (and got some cheers from the other two people for that), but rather stroke their ego (I know what I said above, but I do wanna get stuff done...) by saying, this is what I would do, and it seems to work, listen to me or don't, I don't care. About 90% of the time people will listen.

    But seriously...thicken your skin people...

One thing I learned is that even if you're the nicest person ever to walk on this earth, people will call you "jerk" if you're pointing out their flaws and failures, even if you don't mean ill to them. I was in a CT group, one of the healers in my raid was being abusive and insulting everybody, specially the tanks, calling them retards and stuffs like that, he was doing it because he was in five with friends, I asked people in alliance to stop replying because it wouldn't take us anywhere (i was more interested in finish the run) and they booted me. Until now i haven't seem a single time the kick system where used properly.

So, OP, sometimes it's just better eat 30min penalty than waste time with strangers that will most likely treat you poorly.

hard to focus adds and interupt. Tank should do the interupting imo, war is perfectly cappable of interrupting it.. Also sometimes the dps is to derp or slow to handle that boss. you should recognize that and cut your loses and leave asap.

    A few things:

People in general don't like to be called out for playing badly, no matter how good or bad they are
Things you write on the internet will ALWAYS get taken the wrong way. Even a well placed smiley can be misunderstood..
It's very commendable that you tried to explain the fights but I have to agree that the general tone you write in can be seen as condescending. Some people are more sensitive than others. Some are more open to feedback and others aren't.

It sadly takes a bit of extra effort to explain fights to people without sounding like a jerk. Sometimes I read back things I write in party and realize that it could have been taken the wrong way. I generally ask if someone is new and would like some tips or explanation.
Just explaining a fight isn't the end of it - showing patience and understanding if the other player is not fast to adapt is another.

    No, I don't.

And you'll have to excuse me while I have a difficult time taking anyone disputing the claim seriously, because most of the people upset about the OP's attitude only have the following to say anyway:

"Well you sound like a know-it-all elitist scum to me, I would have kicked you too with that attitude".

It is ridiculous how people think it's unacceptable for elitist jerks to be, well, jerks. But no one bats an eyelash when upset players attempt to to liken another player who asks for more than their party is putting down, just for the sake of completing an encounter, to a bunch of people who get so upset about the quality of another player's performance that it becomes okay to start ruthlessly berating them.

I've had groups make the same mistakes, get hit by every dash, miss every LV, and be very slow to kill the ankle-grabbers...

That said, I can still pull the group through via sheer willpower, and crazy heals. And walk out with a win...even with all the mistakes. So, maybe you should be wondering how you could have compensated all those mistakes and still walked away a winner.

If you wipe and people ask 'what happened' nicely explain what YOU need to keep heals up...not what THEY need. (like: 'It's hard for me to keep curing and keep you all topped off if I'm running around a lot to avoid getting grabbed' vs 'Bards, you need to burn down the adds faster they were attacking me' My way, you explain why it matters to you without blame...your way, you just don't like getting punched in the face...and those punches are all the bards fault)

But in THIS case (your post) You got antsy with people who were new to a battle after their first 1-3 shots....relax. They haven't done it as much as you and are still learning the details. Add to that, this battle can get a little crazy. You explained what they needed to do once...no need to keep pressing them about it. All they needed was some time to sort it out.

Instead, you started calling them out, and demanding they basically make YOUR role easier before they even had a handle on the battle. You can't do that with new players, if anything, you need to compensate for them a bit. So of course, give solid 'here's the battleplan' when new players are on the team...but don't start berating them after the 1st wipe. They need to learn the battle timing too...it's not as easy to Stun LV when you don't know when to anticipate it's coming...especially as a bard who might have an add targeted. Nor is it easy to see where she's going to dash from...can't expect people to get one explanation+1 try=win.

To be honest anyone attacking the OP here must be a loser with issues. The OP did not use any Abusive language and had the decency of trying to explain the fight beforehand, which any fresh level 50 should be appreciating.
When I first did this dungeon as a tank I was horrible, one of the dps was explaining it to me as we went along and we managed to pull through after 3 or 4 wipes. I didn't feel bad or under attack or whatever because I knew I did suck and I did need advice, it's just some players have absolutely no threshold for any criticism or even ADVICE which I would think reflects their personalities more than anything.
Vote kick system was definitely abused
