Ya this game DOES have alot of potential. It is just going to take some time. I think if you are someone who doesn't spend the whole day, every day on grinding and trying to max out everything, then the game is running pretty smooth update-wise. Though that is not the case, we have elite players, and we have very very casual players. I have been using my wait time to help a friend in my area get started in the game so I have someone local to play with. Not many Oregon players it seems; I have yet to meet one at least.

Why do people play XIV JUST because it's free? I thought people played games because they enjoy them.

I also didn't state I didn't enjoy the game. Honestly, even with the issues at beta, I still had fun playing. Now... it's even more fun and I look forward to all the changes occurring... except maybe auto attack >.> Keep up the good work dev team!

I just don't understand why people hate so much for a currently free to play game. Yes we paid full price for the CE and it was bad then, but I try not to dwell on the past. I swear people just post to get everyone else on edge and don't care if their point gets across or not.

We still can't jump, No mounts, No AH which are all common MMO features. What can you expect from this game? It doesn't even has potential.

XIV has plenty of potential. Jump is completely unnecessary. Chocobos... not mounts... yes, would be nice, but to me not the most important issue right now. AH... I don't think is necessary either, this is a tricky subject. I do just fine with the wards as they are now. I spend about the same amount of time using wards that I normally would for the AH in XI.

What can we expect? To get better WITH time!

The forums are full of "I wants" While they are not all bad ideas, people need to drop the "I want this" Attitude and be more concise with how what they want should be something that everyone wants and what it can add to the game as a whole.

There is a lot of things lacking in this game. But we all knew this would take a back seat when the majority decided on the battle system overhaul with the player polls. Please take a time to read Yoshida's responses when he analyzed the charts indicating we wanted the change. He clearly stated that these changes would entail an incredible amount of work and that it would take time. Please read again the letter from the producers that have the polls and you will see Yoshida clearly indicating that.

Thats perfectly fine as I stated people need to drop the "I'm always right" attitude though. It's one thing when you suggest something like lets say jumping.

When somebody comes in and sais, "Well I don't really like that idea, I think it's bad because of _____ and ____" people shouldn't be flamming them just for having a perfectly good reason as to why they dislike the idea. The same could be for people who like the idea, tell us why the idea is good and deserves to be in the game. Please for the love of god don't just demand it because you want it.

"I want jump" Is not productive.

"I want jump because of -A and -B do you guys agree dissagree? Lets flesh this idea out if people want it."

Then again I guess I expect far too much from the forum trolls.
