LOL I'm the healer, I think it was a Guildhest I took this on. Been trying to iron out kinks with the display refreshing properly, the Logitech software just decides to stop updating the display, not sure if I'm writing too often or what =/

The guy wasn't techniquely banned for "using" the app. He was banned for using the app to grief and or harass another member. If you notice it states in the JPEG that he was calling out another player for low DD and refers to his "app" as proof. Grief someone or harass someone like the player did than I'd think SE would sock it to him. If you remember the big controversy earlier about how posting parses in chat isn't productive and calls and shames people or promotes elitism... Here it is.

Back in November a rep stated that tunneling and vpns that didn't change or alter information seemed ok, but use it under discretion and be aware that 3rd party programs where against ToS.

I see trains of RMT bots running around with multiple people reporting them and nothing from a GM. A guy uses are DPS tracker and gets called out almost immediately... srsly SE WTF?!

i think from now on every bad player that joins a group the group should start reporting them for intentionally being bad and messing with their gaming experience. trolling and dying over and over to cause a group to fail intentionally is also against the tos. look forward to people starting to report things that way.

a big problem with dealing with RMT is they get a lot of their accounts by stealing them from normal players.
It makes just straight banning them a bit tricky

This is just a matter someone doing something stupid enough to get a GM on their case then openly admitting using third party programs
