I'm actually surprised how many Miqo'te are running around. I picked Keeper of the Moon because it had the best stats for maining a healer class (which I do). I had no idea there would be THAT many Miqo'te once I got into the game. It's a bit disheartening because I now get clumped into the miqo'te "fan base" in the minds of others, even though I had a completely different reason for picking it. Not saying I don't like the race, I do, but I'm not obsessed with it. I still have fun with my character and play him as I would imagine the lore would portray him. The only thing I can do to keep him semi-identifiable in this sea of miqo'te is adjust him to look the opposite of whatever seems to be the fad at the time through the aesthetician.

Honestly I'd go roe if I were you. I hate being a cat and regret switching from Lalafell to Miqo'te. There are way too many cats running around this game and not enough beautiful Roegadyn women.

Hyur Midlander I was a taru for 9 years on FFXI and then a Lalafell here for about 2 months before I decided it was time to "grow up" hehe. Midlanders are great though, you're basically the same without ears and a tail XD The highlander females get HUGE books but that's about the only plus in choosing them. They look too manly and for that I'd rather just play a male character lol

I actually like the Hyur midlander appearance more, but I hate the midlander animations, and I don't like the highlander looks :/

mmmm seriously why the hell miqote females gets all those anime style hairstyles!this is a "racism" against female midlanders who happen to be the most "suitable" vessel!

Highlander Female is my favourite female, but since I prefer to play male characters, that's not an option for me.

I was highlander (M) in Version 1, and for the first month or so in Version 2.

Highlander (M)s look great in heavy armour but terrible in mage/light armour. And since they nerfed the hell out of Warrior (those who never played Version 1 will never appreciate what Steel Cyclone could have been) I went with Miqo'te (M).

I think he looks alright. Deformed hands notwithstanding.
