If they do it like FigurePrints did for WoW, it'd be fine by me. I've had my old WoW Warlock on my desk for years under a nice glass dome to keep her dust free.
Not sure if this has been posted or not.
If SE decide to do it, please release a app that allow players to load their character data and customize post/mount/armor/weapon.
So, when people order it, they can upload the designed file.
Each figure will be customized, and yes, it'll be pricy and paint job will be the most difficult part in the process.
Please do it SE, for the love of primals.
I wonder what would be a reasonable price range?
And what sizes?
Would buy.

This need to happen.

I want a life-sized miqo'te
"There's a time when a man needs to fight, and a time when he needs to accept that his destiny is lost, that the ship has sailed, and that only a fool would continue. The truth is, I've always been a fool."
It'd have to be of a substantially-higher quality than the WoW figureprints seem to be (they all look gritty and faded to me), but if done well, I'd buy one. Probably wear my Botanist gear.

Something like this, even unpainted would be cool too.... though I'd pay very well for a custom paint job since I'm half blind in RL and could never do it myself.

They've got three sizes to pick from too.
Wonder if the producer would even entertain the question.

This idea would put less stress on Squenix if said 3D Avatars weren't sold as finished products but, instead, were offered as blueprints;
Squenix develops a 3D Model > Blueprint conversor, and the player "prints" his avatar + minions + whatever into a blueprint... Squenix charges minimally for the blueprint (as the characters are copyrighted), and the player has the right to print it to his (or hers) hearts contents, as Squenix can't really enforce "only one print per blueprint" policy on those things.
... As 3D printing becomes more and more accessible (c'mon, guys - it's supposed to be modular and open source, so that you can even print a 3D printer with your 3D printer), such a thing as a printed 3D model of the avatar should be comparable to a "printscreen", and be free of charges (or minimally charged, if you are so intent in giving 'em moneys to Squenix).
So much time and so little to do. (...er, wait a min-...)
