    presence of mind needs a shorter cooldown or a longer duration.

    full disclosure: i have, and play, both WHM and SCH. both are well geared (although the WHM has a TON of crit due to all the shared equipment with my SCH). SCH is my main. and lastly, i don't think PoM is useless in its current state, something i've heard from others. conversely, i think it's a great skill, and the spell speed is highly noticeable.

    with that being said...10 second uptime? with a 300 second cooldown?! at least one of these needs to be changed. the values are confusing within the context of the recast times of other WHM cooldowns. benediction, with its minutes-long CD, is obviously supposed to be an emergency ability. likewise, divine seal, arguably being the much stronger skill, suggests that it should, or at least can, be used in the same fashion. (ie, as an oh-****, last resort ability). yet the low cooldown goes against this idea. meanwhile, PoM's lengthy cooldown, like benediction's, effectively forces you to save it for emergencies. but if this is an emergency ability, it certainly doesn't feel like one. again, the spell speed is nice. i'm not disputing that. but the fact that the spell ends just as quickly as it began, combined with the fact that DS more effectively functions as a last-resort-need-healing-right-now ability, and at a MUCH lower cooldown, makes me wonder what the purpose of this spell is.

    note that i'm being at least partially rhetorical here. i don't mean to imply that i haven't found a use for PoM, because i've found many. i'm also aware that it works well in conjunction with divine seal. i just think that it provides too little for the cooldown, on which i think we can probably agree.

    I agree.

    This ability sucks. Doesn't even earn a spot on my hot bar.

    I dislike a cooldown, with no healing power of it's own, being labeled as an emergency button. It takes time to hit it it and then you still have cast time of the heal.
    Better to just throw a heal, IMO.
    It's kinda nice if you know that you need more throughput ahead of time, like a Wheel or Mountain Buster. But I never actually use it.

    I'd much rather have some kind of instant-cast actual heal like a mini-bene or something like a single-person medica II with a medium cooldown.

    It definitely needs a shorter cd. 180 seems more reasonable (and more consistent with other abilities) for a short duration but powerful buff.

    Totally agreed.
    With the skill animation and how unresponsive this game is, we probably lose 2 seconds of it's 10s duration (and 2 seconds of healing) just to start it, and that's quite dangerous for an emergency skill.

    Honestly, it doesn't increase my spell speed enough for me to even bother with it when I need extra healing. Better to go with a Swiftcast spell, or pop Divine Seal because the extra healing is much more useful, imo.

    IMO I think it is much more useful for throwing out nukes, actually. With PoM I think I get 3 Holys in the time it normally takes to cast 2 which helps out significantly for feather clearing in Garuda EX.

    That said I agree with OP.

    Also you shouldn't be saving Divine Seal for emergencies. It's got amazing uptime and once hate is established you are usually better off using it whenever it's up as it really helps out with MP efficiency.

    To be honest the only time i use PoM is when I dps with Holy.

    Especially for garuda ex during the first plumes.

    This is quite odd in fact, using a healer CD for dps

    I dont even have it on my standard hotbars (its on some duff one where I scroll throu in boredom or for laughs).
    When I think I could do with a PoM, actually Divine Seal is the choice. It is prime position on my "dungeon" hotbar and I use it often - better mana management too.

    Also, DS kinda works in synch with the amination lag......I cast the CureI or II, and immediately after I click DS. Because the heal isn't cast till after my Cure animation, but DS is....9 times out of 10 I get the DS boost on the Cure I cast pre-activation. This is handy if whilst casting Cure the Tank get slap in the face and I realise damage is taken quicker than I can cure

    But, back to PoM....yeah, if it was a longer spell, or a shorter cooldown, then I would consider putting it on my bar.....but not now

    ive seen its benefits in t4 popping for last phase, considering how healing intense that part is, even allows me to split heal both tanks, which ive done before. Also using more cure1 over 2's. Also not bad for t1 last boss, during split. t5 i havnt rly seen the benefits, i guess during snakes, or second divebombs. I think this spell can be utilised very well though.
