They were remade, not removed.
It's poor game design to allow people to catch up without having to play though old content that no one does?
If you ever played WoW, you'd know how hellish it was to replace someone from your static. No amount of "prestige" is worth the hassle of going to older content you're sick of doing and hoping to heavens stuff drops because lol lockouts.
Also the whole game will become pointless if new people aren't staying because they don't want to eternally play catch up.
And it's sad you're bothered by such thing as "the guy in greens". So you play to be better than others, and not to beat content with others?
(sorry, but people getting all defensive about their gear in a vertical progression MMORPG is absolutely hilarious)

I don't think inflating them is solving anything.
If you don't raise the power considerably people won't feel compelled to upgrade, will just beat the last dungeon using their old gear and quit.

Turn 6 should just be tuned for full il 90's. And it should drop il95 gear to match the turn 5 weapon imo.
Turn 6 isn't when they should jump it, nor should they ever. That's how wow did expansions and each expansion killed the previous expansion. If you make gear from old content worthless, the mass stops running the old content.

Seriously Coil 2 better be a good jump in gear.
They should make a Twintania hard-like battle in which you must have a Botanist and a Miner as part of the party. So that leaves only 6 spots for DoW/DoM.
The DoL on party would have to run from all AoE and interact with something (crystals on the wall? enemy hardshell?) in order to allow others to damage to the boss.
Of course this must be some kind of crazy DPS race as well, so solo-tanking AND solo-healing will have to occur.
Its already pointless because after you get it you have nothing to fight it with btw.
So you want everything except Leviathan Extreme and Coil 10 to be faceroll once geared? No thanks.
Keep the item level increase small so our current content doesn't become too easy, but easier.
Yeah, first time you go there with Ilvl90 you get stomped, 3-4 months later you are full ilvl120, same lvl as the bosses and you would be the one doing the stomping this time. It is the natural order and I would not have it any other way.
My full ilvl90 BiS gear have to look absolutely worthless in comparison to Coil 2 drops. Otherwise, just like CT, Ultima, & King Mog, I will never do them.

Exactly what I was thinking, could not see them say putting in 5 more turns with gear higher then ilvl 110, with possibility for an ilvl 115 weapon at the end.
