Everyone hates the elf race?

Usually i like to play a male elf in every MMO but in FFXIV i don't like the elves i played as an elf in 1.0 but they have such a little head compared to the body and no long hair that makes them almost ugly.
And now there are male miqo'te which are meowwww !

I really liked everything about the Elzen but their disproportionate head. It is the only reason I did not end up making one my main. The head throws me off every time.

its really just a matter of reproduction see Elezen, Hyur, Lalafell, and Roegadyn can only have 1 child at a time (twins etc are an expection) per reproduction cycle while Miqo'te have litters of 4-6 hence the over crowding

I think Elezen suffer from the fact that they're one of the most overused races in fantasy (elves).

And there are literally trillions of lalafells. They reproduce by dividing, like cells.

Because they are cell-sized! =O

I dont like dem hibbies too err elezens, in fact i dont like whole gridania and Kan-E-Senna whinning how she cant hug trees all day long with empire at the gates. Only good elfs are dark elf slaves

animal or loli race ftw. TERA combined it and made elin master race, here i had hard time deciding if lala or Miqo'te

I've always played Elves in most MMOs but I just can't get into FF elves. In FFXIV in particular their run animation is awful. I just can't get passed it. Someone mentioned they run like a puppet or something and they are right. There is just something odd about it and I don't know if it is because they are all lanky or what. They look fine in gear and such, but I just can't stare at a character that runs like that without getting annoyed.
