Wait, what? I hope you're joking. Goblin is laughably easy like everything else and a GLA can tank it with 1 healer with incredibly minimal effort.

You're correct about it being laughably easy. I've tanked it several times with no outside healing. It's a joke.

I have to thank you for dredging up this thread to provide more laughs. Actually, if you guys could record your own NM runs and put them on youtube that would be great. Don't worry about the 15 minute time limit, they removed that. You won't need to edit down those 30 minute enraged ones.

Odd thread. Op asks a question, gets answers, then some people get mad at others for not having the same answers as their own.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in. I am a fairly new member of Abaddon, been in LS for maybe a month or so. The way people here are saying how Abaddon does things just doesn't mach what I have seen. Maybe that is a strategy that Molly liked to use. Maybe he likes a different way now. Maybe they just didn't have a Gladiator available at the time. Maybe a THM just wanted to have fun tanking. I do believe he said it's not the only way, just the way he found it to be the easiest(which is what the Op was asking for I believe). That doesn't mean he said its not easy with a GLA tank with one healer and 1-2 DD. We all know it's still easy then and it shouldn't even have to be mentioned. I have done it personally with LS members only using GLA, ARC, and CON.

Did someone even bash Abaddon for doing things the easy way? Isn't the easy way the smart way? Isn't that the reason why we all level and build our characters up and have LS events? So things are easier and go smoother when it really matters? Picking an easy way to do things over picking the more difficult way is not cheating, which is what it sounded like some people were implying. Not all of us have 18 hours a day to play, so the easy/smart way is definitely the best time management, not to mention the easiest way to get gear(yay!), which is what everyone playing wants.

Sounds like some people think that Abaddon tries to throw THM tanks and an army of Archers at everything. I have been to pretty much every LS event in the last month or so and this is very far from the truth. Have done the Bloatbelly NM fight around 15 times and have only seen a THM as the tank about twice during that time and that was just because we didn't have a Gladiator in our group. Heck, my first weekend in the LS, we did GB with about 6 people and our main, and only tank, was an Archer. It never even crossed my mind before to try to tank GB with an archer... and wow, it works

Sure, you don't need THM-main tanks anymore since you've got tons of people with at least THM40 to sub Emulate. Emulate is what it was about, it was just easy to say "THM tank" to refer to it. Hope that clears that up.

As for it being "smart and wise" to do everything the lazy way... It's really not a good way to get your skills up to be ready for harder content, and that "gear" right now is garbage. If that's how you want to play, that's fine, but where I take issue is when Molly goes around encouraging everyone else to do it even when they don't ask. OP just wanted tips on getting the incap. They were obviously getting kills just fine, he never asked how to tank it and overheal it.

Oh, and...

just bring your friendly neighborhood THM tank, a couple healers, and some ARCs and you're all set.
