With that said, it must be remembered that SE released this game also on the PS3. You can't (afaik, I tried looking for it as I play on both PC and PS3) use a VPN through the PS3. You can sit here and say "well that's the ps3" all you want but if they are going to allow the game to be on the console, they need to make sure the console can handle it.

I play on the PS3. I had to install a Solid State Hard drive just in order to do much of the end game content, because of the way graphics are loaded on the system. This still doesn't solve the problem that I constantly get hit by AOE abilities from many end game boss encounters even though on my screen I am way clear of the area being targeted.

As it's been said I should not HAVE to find an outside fix to a game that I have purchased and continually pay for. I should be able to rely solely on my skills and not on luck with internet latency, or system speeds.

Played with 250ms latency on JP server group. Got 0 problem with avoiding weight and everything else.

Just to throw this in there I did titan EX one night and I could not dodge plumes at all. The next day I beat it without getting hit by a single plume but I didnt change a thing. In both cases I moved when I saw them. There is definitely something up with the way those plumes work and latency in my opinion. My game was not freezing in either case.

I do wish that WOTL was a half second longer though. I am 100% jealous of the people that can use visual cue's in Titan fights to avoid plumes. As said already, preempting by a half second in HM is dandy, but it makes life difficult for everyone in EX because you end up inadvertently MPKing someone in the stack. And to be honest, while preempting WOTL is totally doable, it's like playing Titan HM/EX on HM lol. It would be nice to be able to rely on those visual cue's like other people, rather than dealing with that blind panic that occurs when your mind wanders a bit and you forget for a second where Tits is up to in his rotation.

I think adding 2 seconds would be too much, but 0,5-1 second more time to dodge the Weight of the Land would be justified, in my opinion. I managed to beat the fight after a few hours of trying with a good group, and I did manage to dodge most Weights, but every now and then a little spike caused me to get hit although I reacted immediately, while at other times, I felt like I reacted too slowly, but wasn't hit because my internet was doing fine at the time. On occasion, of course, I actually reacted too slowly and got hit without lag being the issue.

I think even adding 0.2 seconds to WotL would do wonders. I have no problem avoiding WotL, but I find any of our FC members playing on PS3 have major issues. It could be because they are 'bad', but increasing the time just a little bit would put an end to that argument. It really isn't going to make the fight a joke, just possible for those who don't have the perfect setup.

I cannot beat titan extreme without WTFast.

This has never happened in ANY other game.

Basically thise, but i live in europe and use battleping (and ofc another provider). But if this is the only game where i have issues like this, something is wrong with the game and it's network code. I can't count how often i got hit by AoEs even though i should not have. Battleping (which i only started using about a week ago), solved the problem so far. But seriously, it can't be the solution to pay another 5$ a month only to be able to play endgame content because of bad network code or server connections/locations.

I can understand doing this post-heart phase, but I don't understand why people won't form a vertical line behind Titan pre-heart. This makes it to where if you're having lag or whatever that you only eat your own plume instead of 4.

I'm sorry, but I'm calling BS with the lag. If you beat Titan HM then you're able to kill Titan EX. They didn't make any of his casts faster, they just gave him more of them. Titan is still as he was before; the fight isn't about reaction, it's about anticipation.
