Current BIS for Bard

My acc with all my i90 and elfin bow is 429. I have to sub in dl for 2 i90's + food to reach cap. I will be at 411 iirc with all my allegen.

There's a reason most BiS sets include a whole lot of myth gear. >_>

472 cap for T1-T4

Bard's Ringbands
Hero's Belt of Aiming
Bard's Tights
Ballad Boots

Ultima's Choker of Aiming
Tremor Earring of Aiming
Allagan Bracelet of Aiming
Gryphsonskin Ring
Vortex Ring of Aiming

Food: Stuffed Cabbage HQ (+21), total accuracy = 473, average item level = i87

For T5, I'll just swap out the Allagan Bracelet of Aiming for a Pentamelded (+8 Vit, +12 Crit, +8 Det) HQ Gryphonskin Bracelet for the +12 accuracy.



EDIT: If you guys haven't cleared Titan EM (I know a lot have not), then here's a similar alternate with the same 473 accuracy. Changes made in bold:

Bard's Ringbands
Hero's Belt of Aiming
Bard's Tights
Ballad Boots

Ultima's Choker of Aiming

it is also easy to have as you only need 2 drops from bahamut + the chocker from ultima and Garuda's ring.

I tried to make it as easy as possible to customize your generated gearsets. Very lengthy instructions included.
I wouldn't mind if a pro theorycrafter/excel user took a look at it. I'm surprised to find that by including Ballad, Ultima and Crafted gear, >ILVL90 gear was actually included in optimal gearsets. I don't know how well that holds up, but it's based purely on weights (many thanks to Easymode for the new weights).

Reasoning behind the set is simple:

1. Prioritize WD (Allagan Bow)
2. Followed by DEX (which is also prioritizing item level )
3. Then cap ACC
4. Then salvage as much crit as possible (in this case, every single piece has crit)

I would like to see some feedback, because to me it seems like there really isn't a set that beats this.

And since this is a BiS thread, I don't think limited access to certain item pools should be a factor, which seems to be the reasoning for a lot of alternatives.
