Yankee Biker Gang II!
im not saying dont make it, but asking why announce it, its just not a good business move if one of your mmo are being revamped.@Captain21
Well. A new MMO may appeal more to new players than one with bad reviews and populated by hardcore nerds with several jobs at level cap already...
I don't have a problem with a new MMO, I am just hoping Square-Enix has allocated resources efficiently to bring us a better FFXIV at the most optimal pace possible because I feel like this should be their top priority.
Because a Publisher as big as S-E handles multiple games. And each of those games has several separate teams. One doesn't necessarily impact the other. Should they hide development of another game, just to appease people who are not happy with the current state of FFXIV? Most likely this other MMO is intended to target a different audience, people not planning on playing FFXIV. Announcing this MMO might make some people question SE's priorities, yet that cannot determine how they develop and release their games. If they didn't announce it, their other game would likely suffer. From a Cost-Analysis point of view, SE probably realizes continuing this other project will net them more players and more $ than keeping it off the radar to appease unhappy FFXIV players.
im saying its bad timing how does this announcement help se it doesnt in no way. To announce a new mmo at this time is just a bad business move not making the game but to announce it at this time im not hater of se i dont troll these forms saying I dislike of game and se i enjoy the game and most of projects that se make, but again i state im not saying dont make another mmo but pick better time to announce it or at least tell us that there is no way it will hinder or derail ffxiv. think of it this way how many people have u seen on these forms that grasp the time it takes get thing done alot here screamed that the game should have been fix and revamp in the 1st few months. so there will be many that will think that the game will be out sooner then it will.Because a Publisher as big as S-E handles multiple games. It helps advance their other title. They have supposedly their best team working on FFXIV; if you're just worried about the announcement, do you seriously think announcing another multiplayer game is going to matter in the long term?
Funny how people already sinking ffxiv because SE release another mmorpg. We don't know even what title have. If would be chocobo racing online what you'd think ?
