It may work due to the kingdom hearts series we know that right now both Cloud and Sephiroth are jumping from dimension to dimension fighting so it is possible that Eorza could just be another one of those dimensions.

Kingdom Hearts is a different beast.

All the characters from various FFs with their backgrounds in the KH Canon all come from Radiant Garden. The Cloud and Sephiroth of that universe should stay there.

And in the KH verse, litteraly *anything* could be in that verse. World Travel breaks all the boundaries man.

Well seeing as the next "big" release is FF10 Hd why my give us a sin battle or something like those lines, bringing sephiroth into this game would just be a smack in the face to ff7

For people mentioning the lore both seven and fourteen's planet has a lifestream so I'm sure they could make a connection there.

I don't mind nostalgia bosses at all, it's a big part of what the FF series is all about.

The lightning thing was a complete waste of time. I don't want to cheapen sephiroth by putting him in a similar situation. Luckily Lightning was never really popular anyway.
