Crystal Tower: Do we really have to wait 6 months just to enter the actual tower?

After completing the Ancient Maze I did not find any quest to unlock the actual raid into the Crystal Tower.

First, I am aware of the update schedule for this game. Every 3 months we will get a version update. So in 3 months from now we will get 2.2 but in 2.2 we will not get any update to the Crystal Tower, only Coil. So that means we have to wait an entire 6 months to get into the actual tower.

When I heard we would be getting the Crystal Tower in 2.1 I assumed we would get 4 floors of raids, just like Coil, so why did we only get a single raid? If we have to wait 6 months for new content on Crystal Tower, why only give us a single floor each update?

I am asking you Yoshi P to please give us more floors in the Crystal Tower in 2.2 because there is only one raid floor at this very moment.

I am not saying there is not enough content overall in the 2.1 update.

I'm usually patient with this stuff, but after clearing it yesterday, I want more. It's a fun dungeon (although at times, I thought, having 24 people in one dungeon, trying to work together, is an awful awful idea... our alliances could not work together at all...), plus I'm really interested in the story of it all... 6 months is too long to find out "what happens next".

I agree, though I think what is being suggested will potentially backfire. More than likely, the Raids team are the same group that work on Coil and CT. If they break them in half to try and develop floor designs for both CT and Coil at the same time, what we'll get is 1-2 floors in Coil in 2.2 and maybe a floor in CT. I understand that some people may prefer that, but I think their current design is the better approach. Allow them to focus on Coil for the next patch update, after that, they can hopefully give us 5 floors worth of content for CT itself.

If you recall the Monster poster they released months ago, they have a LOT of potential bosses to be used in CT.

They just wont give you the next floors that doesn't mean they cannot continue the story. They probably need more Crystals and Aethersand and their families could get hungry. Maybe they even build a camp and need some materials. Isn't that fun? .......

Why didn't they put the same amount of floors in the Crystal Tower that were in the first set of Coil raids? I mean we will have to wait a whole half of a year and they thought that one level of the Crystal Tower would be enough content? I don't understand.

Because there's more to 2.1 than just one dungeon.

Maybe they felt that many players would see that as well.

Hell, I've only done maybe 40% of this patch so far, many quest lines haven't even been started yet.

Though grinding out CT for tomes is nice, longer than AK was, but not by much. Last night's best run had everything done in about 40 minutes. Smooth.

I don't think that one floor of CT is comparable to one turn of Coil.
In the single 'floor' of CT (not really a floor considering it's outside, i guess) we got 4 bosses, 2 mini bosses and some trash. In a single turn of coil we get one of the following: Turn 1: Miniboss, some trash and a boss. Turn 2: Minibosses(?) and a boss. Turn 3: lol! Turn 4: Some trash made into a boss fight, Turn 5: Boss
for a total of 2 minibosses, 4 bosses, some trash and a lol!.

If the labyrinth had been split into coil-style turns (ie first turn is just bone dragon and trash, second turn is just thanatos and atomos, etc.) would you have not complained?

I'm fine with it because I know 2.2 isn't just going to be Coil, just like 2.1 wasn't just CT. Levithan and Ramuh are schedule to make an appearance. Possible roaming Primals will finally come out. New dungeons and HM/EX content is a given. They might even have different 24 man content that isn't related to CT.

Basically as long as they deliver on the content I'm happy.
