What's Your 3 Biggest Gripes About PvP?

I'll go first.

1) Sleep materia. Shaved 4 seconds off sleep...I cried a little

2) NASCAR pvp and/or Run Forest...RUUUUUUUUN!!!! It's kinda silly

3) The jump immunity thing. Running and jumping and running and jumping and.....

What's the 3 biggest problems in your opinion?

1) 2 minute timer to start matches should be cut in half
2) PVP gear should be required in PVP would give crafters something to make and boost economies on servers
3) WAR/SCH/SMN/SMN comps!

This i why I laughed when I saw SE's PvP intro in the 2.1 trailer. I thought it was cute how they had the combatants just standing still and courteously fighting each other, letting each other do their combos and such. I knew there was no way in hell that was going to happen.

1. I don't have the abilities yet, but isn't there one that removes ailments? But otherwise yeah, even though sleep can be reduced a lot, for brand new fighters into the Den *boy* is it annoying. When I got hit for 30 seconds of sleep I felt completely helpless and useless to the group in my first match. This is why in games like WoW, crowd control abilities have reduced effectiveness, so I was kind of surprised to see this wasn't the case.

2. This is going to keep happening, it's present in practically every online PvP. Ties in with number three also.

3. This will probably be "adjusted." Chalking it up to oversight. Like most things.

Yup...when I saw their PvP preview video I may have laughed but I also died a little on the inside. At that point I knew not to expect much from it. XD

Honestly it's better than I would have thought. Being able to have both teams say their ready would be nice to remove the mandatory 2 minute wait after everyone is all buffed and good to go would be nice, not really a gripe though.

What's the 3 biggest problems in your opinion?

2 and 3 pretty much covers why I don't pvp. Spent an entire match chasing a Blm who was laggy and was constantly jumping and sprint. I said before it came out melee would suck and they do... big surprise there.

People not wearing pvp gear is really annoying. People claim pve gear is better. Okay believe what you want. Keep a pve piece with 0 pvp stats attached.
