How I see the new abilities:
Asylum - Get ready for my holy spam because that's the only healing you gonna get.
Aero III - I guess I should put some dots up before holy spamming.
Assize - I need more MP to spam holy even more, also stop getting hit in the face.
Tetragrammaton - I guess I should heal that tank now.
Stone III - There's less than 3 mobs left alive. - Ragns Meuhie
Personally I want outfits that are tasteful, not the overwhelming amount of potato sacks I keep getting...
Basically, it doesn't have to be super revealing to be good looking, but it also doesn't have to be so covering and shapeless as to make a nuns habit look revealing...

It isn't that they just want to see a little more skin, it's that they are dissatisfied with the art direction of the game due to the fact that it is not overtly erotic like Tera and other games on the market. Not only that, but it is directly stated that they would rather a derivative 'sexy snowbunny' outfit rather than something tasteful and well designed.
I think that the people arguing against the OP are perfectly within reason, I would be rather cross if I offered someone a well crafted salmon dinner and they told me they'd rather McDonalds
please show me where I said that I want something "overly erotic llike TERA"? Because i can't find where I said that and can only find a mention of WoW one of the more PG friendly games on the MMO market. I honestly don't want TERA level holiday cloths because this isn't TERA, but I at the same time don't want what we have considering every piece of female armor is a full on tin cna suit, or something you'd see a nun wearing. What I wanted and why I'm disappointed is because of doing something like every other single MMO and having their Christmas outfit follow the general template of a top(not a bra), showing midriff, and a skirt SE decided to be as politically and femnazi correct as they possibly could be and gave us another nun outfit with full balls that happens to be dyed red. and to me this outfit isn't tastefull or well designed its a cop out to people like the ones posting in here.
There's a difference between what we have and TERA and it would be nice if any of you could acknowledge that without jumping to the extreme and then trying to dismiss another opinion just because it hurts your sheltered mind that someone might enjoy something different from you when he or she has to stare at the same pixels for what will eventually equate to months of time. Also if I really wanted to see "overly erotic like TERA" clothes outfits I'd start up my TERA client and log in.
This. there's a way to be risque and still be tasteful. I honestly don't get why people can't grasp this simple concept that we can show a midriff here or there and have a skit be shorter than the ground without suddenly becoming a pr0n MMO.Personally I want outfits that are tasteful, not the overwhelming amount of potato sacks I keep getting...

Why can't we have both? We can have your cute reindeer outfit and we can have my not a nun midriff showing Christmas one.

OP I don't really disagree with you and I guess I agree some midriff would look nice but it's a weird thing to get worked up over, which is probably why people have responded in such a way.
It was honestly my first thought when I saw the santa outfits as well, that it would be nice if it was a little less conservative but the thought ended there. Mostly overshadowed by the fact that this event was yet another stupid FATE driven event and god I am sick of them.

I actually think the Santa outfits on the females are sexy enough without showing anything more than it is... Then again maybe i'm a leg person ;>_>

Your complain is 3 years too late. The santa suit is from 2010 and it is from Tanaka's team.Yoshi P and team I am severely disappointed in you guys. Logged in this morning after work and say the Christmas event was "excited" to see what the Christmas outfits were since most games even WoW go a little risque and XIV hasn't exactly been super modest at times.
So I logged in and tracked down the fate to get enough eternal ice crystals to buy the tunic. Needles to say I was very disappointed when I put it on and it was actually a top of a Santa suit and not some skimpy Christmas outfit like every other game in existence has done. Especially when considering where this game is from. Needless to say, Yoshi and team I am disappoint
It was the first of the "ring the bell" events.
Ring the bell, get the event mats, hunt down the other mats you need, craft your suit.
Or would you also complain that Yoshida bring the old event gears in the new events so the players on the new servers can also get the old event gears?

As the Japanese don't actually celebrate Christmas maybe you should consider yourself lucky you got anything at all![]()

Oh wow, he really does feel strongly about this.
Nuns wear full plate, guys.
No adventurer in their right mind ever wants that.
Wait, what?
Well aren't you a charming young man.
Wasn't this about how you're mad that Square-Enix is being different here? There's a difference between what we have and TERA and it would be nice if any of you could acknowledge that without jumping to the extreme and then trying to dismiss another opinion just because it hurts your sheltered mind that someone might enjoy something different from you
I was going to agree that this is extremely cute and I love how they even gave us holiday chocobo barding, but now that it's been revealed that you, Ginger Gulvak of Coeurl, not only dressed yourself as a nun, but you subjected your loyal steed to the same thing, I just don't know what to believe anymore!
This has nothing to do with anything but the gif in your sig is adorable and you deserve to be commended for it.
