This is ironic coming from someone complaining about people not cooperating and getting along. Perhaps therein lies the root of your issue...
Did my first CT last night. Had many many many many wipes because:
1. Undead Dragon boss lulz
2. Me wiping Alliance A twice on Atomos because no one told me NOT to stand on the glowy platform unless EVERYONE is ready (I summoned the Iron Giant twice before realizing why he appeared)
3. Almost everyone (including me) not understanding what the Comets in King Behemoth DO, and what was killing them (the comets)
4. Me wiping all 3 Alliances one time once we DID figure out what the Comets do (and how to keep them alive) simply because I missed one Cherybydis dodge, causing KB to run amok
In an epic conclusion, we beat CT with 2m left on timer.

Careful there, Ryans. He's going to call you an illiterate bastard.CT has been out for... hold on let count... 2 days. With all the time it takes to get access to CT, even less than 2 days of CT practice for the majority of the playerbase. That is not nearly enough time to expect pick-up groups to have their shit together. It took a few weeks for Coil pugs to actually clear through T4 without much need for explanations of fights and it's going to be even tougher with 24 people. So you should at least expect a week or two before most people running know what they are doing.
This thread is complete and utter garbage.
To be honest, I feel as if this whole CT experience is going to be individual. If you don't like the fact that there are various personalities (24) to be exact, then don't play the content. There are those of us who craved such content because we were slamming our heads against the brick wall known as AK and WP!. Honestly Final Fantasy has never disappointed when it comes to challenges. Do we forget the trials in XIII or even the backbreaking work it took to get to Yiazmat in XII .. I mean hell even Gilgamesh in XII-2 Colleseum was content that was angering... but you don't see us throwing our keyboards and screaming like the German kid. If people are going to spend all this time bitching about things they "Cannot" control then pop a seat on youtube next to the German Psycho and join in on the madness, because in the end you are creating your own hell ...
i think this is SE trying to make people work and communicate more with each other, other than a silent not fun speed runs
DRATS! I missed this post. After being paired up with us again after a previous short run, you immediately attacked my friend and were generally being rude.
That was the third group I've been in with you today, and I've seen you complaining every time. I advised the group to remove you, and we did clear that final run, despite being down two tanks.
That being said, you should reconsider your toxic behavior towards people you are grouped with- not only does it make other players uncomfortable, but it's incredibly frustrating to deal with, and no one that is introduced to new content wants to deal with the flaming. So please- next time that you queue for CT, bear in mind that the content is brand new, and people are still learning- and although you may have it down, a lot of people pick these things up slower than you & I, and might take many, many attempts to finally complete them.

OP lost all credit as a player and forum poster with this and his other behavior. Just ignore this thread.
I think you are missing the point of the Crystal Tower. It is to get people to work together and coordinate their efforts to reach a common goal. If you have someone who is not listening or working with the party, you now have the option of kicking them from said party. The alliances have the same option.
The fact that you potentially have 24 people thrown together into a dungeon is what makes it so challenging to begin with. Personally, I see the Final Fantasy MMOs as being the most challenging ones out there, and I think the players that start out with those games have the most potential in other MMOs. If you can play well in a FF MMO, then you can easily exceed at the other, subpar, MMOs. Like WoW. Or Guildwars.
-ducks-
The OP's forum name seems particularly fitting...
yeah the one thing i really like about this game is the fact that encourages u to communicate and work with other players. did a duty roulette last night and got into copperbell. everyone including myself was doing it for the first time. we wiped a few times and everyone just laughed it off and rework our strategies until we cleared each and every one of the boss encounters. it ended up being a very pleasant experience despite the wipes.
