Summoner also has the highest burst in the game. The class is too well rounded and applies too much pressure and damage for the insane support it brings.

My prediction: SE will keep war amazingly devastating in PvP so later down the line you must do lolPvE to get PvP stuff... and that will fix the 'lack of tank' issues. /pets cat.
The biggest problem here is that with a premade of 2 summoners and a healer, they all have swiftcast, so you have to kill them potentially 3 more times for a total of 7 deaths.

Having been in a 2smn/1whm party half hour ago where there were:
No sleeps
No binds
No heavys
No whack-a-mole
No damage
I'm sure the only problem i have is constant revives but i'd also like to point out to SE that there's people almost fully geared using these setups.
Off topic: how does a whm walk out of 2 stuns back to back?

I am just curious how MNK or DRG can't kill a SMN. SMN has no escape mechanic and DRG and MNK have 2 of the best gap closers in the game. You should be able to melt a SMN. SMN only cc is tri-disaster or blizzard II and has long cast so should be able to interrupt way before its off.
With one SMN it's not as bad, with two they can endlessly slow me as a monk, my charge is on a 30 second cooldown. They can also bind me, I have killed 1 out of the 2 summoners in a double summoner comp before, only to have the summoner simply get rezzed and have 2 summoners binding and slowing me endlessly, and the slow is such that I can not catch anyone even with sprint up. Most of the time, you're right. But if everyone gangs up on one, if a SMN acts quickly with Miasma II (which is instant AoE, gives disease, so heal reduction and weight) and sprint, they can get away, provided it's fast enough. But that disease can be short lived and resistance builds fast, so it might not work well the second time. Or if a WAR is there for Holmang. Uh oh.I am just curious how MNK or DRG can't kill a SMN. That being said after doing more reflection, I wouldn't mind if nerfed our raise in PVP, either made the MP requirement huge or only allow us to raise someone once. I do see the problem with 3 Swiftcast Raisers on the field.

I think I would be more worried about 2 BLM. Swiftcast freeze, sleep, double flare...everyone dead.
