Accidentally made FC member Master

Today I was upgrading my ranking system for my FC along with the 2.1 patch. I accidentally made one of my FC members the master of the whole FC, and he has been gone for 37 days. I am not sure if he is coming back. This is a very easy thing to do considering when you promote a member the master status is on the very top, and that's where it starts from after you press promote. One accidental press of x will do it. For future problems that can arise from this, I suggest you put a 2nd confirmation option for this. I really need my FC mastership back. I have contacted SE by email with no response. Pleaseee help me.

Hopefully you get a response. There's an FC on my server who's Master quit the game a while back and so far they've gotten no help even after contacting SE

I am having this same exact problem, I have sent in multiple tickets on this issue. They cannot help us with this at this time, but there has been talk of adding in a system where we can get our leadership back.

It is so frustrating. I have been extremely irritated by ease of transferring leadership while editing rank. It is poorly thought out. I wish we could get more coverage on this, and bring it to someone's attention. Waiting for patch 2.2 is a tremendous amount of time to be placed on hold.

Oh i will keep this thread alive and well . This issue needs to be addressed and resolved there is no reason why the highest ranking in the Free Company should be that simple to transfer over. Thankfully I have amazing FC members that will stick by me as we make a new Free company from scratch until this is fixed.

no there is not after you press x it is all done.

B_V1, yeah I had been very specific with permissions in our Company and thankfully had given many of the officers the ability to promote/demote, manage the chest contents, and change the Company board. There is a post about this issue with official text that states the ability to retrieve leadership from an inactive member is coming post 2.1. We are going to stick it out, and wait for it to be adjusted.

It would be great to see some kind of fix for this. It's really ridiculous there isn't a confirmation asking if you're sure you want to transfer mastership to another member. On PS3 you hit X and you're screwed.

Oceana- That is exactly what happened to us! One mistaken mash of my X button and we are stuck until there is a fix.
