In my 7 years playing Lineage 2 I can tell you that NCSoft customer support and dedication to their games is second to none.

Is the BRD going to focus on the BLM...or the healer?

Honestly, I feel there is a better job for mage-killing, specifically Casters, than BRD. Better burst DPS, stuns, new INT-killing skill, instant gap closer.

However, you BLM are safe for at least a few seconds...I'm going healer-killing first. If I get close enough to Spineshatter, whatever mage gets hit is gonna die fast.

My point is you don't even have to focus. With the laggy re-cast system after an interrupt and the 3.5s cast-time to get up AF3 all a BRD has to do is switch to the BLM every ~4 seconds and completely negate them. You don't have to worry about killing them, you can render them useless with minimal effort while focusing your attack elsewhere.

But basically all you're saying is that almost any class can easily nullify the BLM, which I agree with.

I mean you want to talk about NERF.. DRG's blood for blood and im sorry they really are not fixing anything with the animation issues. DRG's are just going to be stat buffers in pvp that's what i am mad about.

Once a melee zones in on a BLM what tools does the BLM have to get away?

blizzard ii(for bind) has cast time
freeze has a cast time
not sure how the new pvp sleep works but probably has a cast time?(3 min cd)
lethargy is the only tool that you have w/o blowing cds! maybe pvp sleep if its instant.

so only way to kite is with cds:
1) swiftcast (1 min this will work)
2) surecast (30 secs but can be silenced?)
3) the pvp skill where your casts are uninterrupted for maximum of 20 secs (5 mins immune to silence? idk)
4) pvp sleep (3 min if its insta cast)

BLM struggle is real.
